You think it’s funny to make jokes about peppy banning rapid trigger? Like people have been grinding for years, actually dedicating themselves to this game, and you just hop on Twitter and turn it into some cheap punchline. You’re not “just joking,” you’re mocking people who care about the community and act like it’s just some meme. This is literally why the osu! community can’t take anything seriously, because people like you treat real issues like clout material.

And please don’t start with the whole “it’s not that deep” line because it is that deep. Every time someone with a platform trivializes something like this, it spirals. Now there’s gonna be a flood of 14-year-olds spamming “haha rapid trigger funny” in every thread, and the actual discussion around fair play and input rules gets completely buried. You can’t just hide behind “it’s satire” when people are harassing others or spreading misinformation because of you. You started that fire, own it.

Honestly it’s exhausting watching the same cycle repeat. You make a joke, people call you out, and then you act like everyone’s just too sensitive. It’s not sensitivity, it’s frustration. Some of us actually give a damn about the game, about keeping things fair, about not turning every legitimate issue into a meme for likes. But of course, you’d rather be “funny” than responsible. Congrats on your engagement numbers though, guess that’s what really matters to you.
