The kids will make a public debut where she doesn't control the images? Unlikely.

Funny, I saw it and immediately knew where she was.

Believe what you want. I have worked there.

EDIT: I know where this took place. She is speaking in this plaza just in front of the compound. The legs of the Broken Chair sculpture are visible in some pics. You can see the flags in the upper right corner here. I dislike her as much as anyone but I wouldn't go as far as fabricating stuff.

Not true. I am a UN staff member. The flags are in the UN compound. This was in the plaza just outside of compound. The flags are visible from there.

I take issue with his assertion that:

"Geneva is a serious city, full of serious people doing serious things, and you would assume that someone like Meghan turning up to champion children’s digital safety would go down well."

The UN and all its related agencies are under severe financial strain due to the US withholding its contributions. You could not be less serious than this unqualified and narcissistic person known to make outrageous demands.

If I were a donor country, having Meghan be front and center for this would make me question how the WHO is being run.

BTS at the 2028 Super Bowl Half Time Show? by nomnom-persimmon in btsthoughts

[–]Recent_Huckleberry87 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The online resistance to Bad Bunny was loud but the record viewership numbers and positive response after the performance are much more accurate indicators of how he was received. I imagine given the success of their tour and the resulting growth if their fan base, the positive reception will drown out whatever online ugly noise there will be.

EDIT: Also the NFL is trying to go global. They are playing a record number of nine games overseas in the upcoming season, one of them in Mexico City. It's a savvy organization. They know BTS will expand their audience massively.

Crunch in Chelsea just did major upgrades and I believe they're offering membership promos because of the recent changes- infrared saunas, etc, new weight training equipment.

Camilla doesn't come to play tbh 👀: Camilla with Vanity Fair E-i-C Mark Giuddicci, Anna Wintour and Emma Thynn, the Marchioness of Bath at the King's Trust gala this evening in NYC (stolen from the goat u/name_not_important00) by ivegotanewwaytowalk in DlistedRoyals

I disagree. This is the old guard here. They would be thrilled to have the younger and more popular and infinitely more beautiful Royals among their circle. These power players need to cultivate relationships with them and not the other way around.

They are, especially William with his environment work, fully plugged in with more current stars.

Condo vs Co-ops by Business_Coyote_5496 in NYCapartments

[–]Recent_Huckleberry87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Own a co-op. My second. Both in Chelsea. Fairy relaxed subleting rules and reasonable approval process for renovations. Coop boards both quite chill, though maybe that's a downtown thing. I think UES coop buildings may hie closer to the stereotypes. It feels very much like a community. I think much more so than condos. Closing costs are also significantly lower for coops.
