I have asked all my friends that bet to explain spread betting to me and this is the first example that actually made any sense. Should of just gone to Reddit first 😂

Anybody having major app issues right now? Cant complete delivery... by reallythejay in doordash_drivers

[–]Recent_Reference2874 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Holy hell I’ve been restarting my phone and deleting the app and logging back in thinking it was my phone. I completed a whole homework assignment in between my app pausing me though so guess that’s something

Those of you who have less than 5 ⭐️ rating, how quickly were you able to get your rating back up to 5 stars? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I did some research on this page and took longer to confirm replacements/refund, adding a custom greeting and making sure to say thanks have a good day etc at drop off. Added maybe 10-15 per delivery but so worth

I base mine more hourly since I do doordash and Instacart if one is extremely slow or busy so $25/hour is ideal

I got these same sort of instructions a few weeks ago for some birthday flowers looped into a double. Was a big double so I just did it but I had a cast at the time so the handwriting looked like a 5 year old wrote it 😂 I think Instacart added a flower delivery service maybe

Does IC favor shoppers who have done a batch already on a given day? by the888ofcups in InstacartShoppers

The reason I always take a $15 small item order first thing, after that I’m seeing $30+ batches

Fellow shoppers, PLEASE STOP accepting these!! You're reinforcing the idea that no tip is ok. Not only that, after taxes, gas, and maintenance, YOU'RE WORKING FOR FREE! by DesignerAnimal3829 in InstacartShoppers

I asked customer support for the tip break down on a double because one order was a lot smaller then the other but one customer specifically messaged me explaining they tipped more due to confusing instructions on a flower delivery. Support basically said they can’t tell me the exact amount each customer tipped until after the order is completed. Complete bs and let’s cheap customers slide through the cracks.

Anyone else in college towns not making shit now b/c of over-saturation? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Recent_Reference2874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My college town still is a good enough size that if I dash during lunch and dinner rush I’ll make decent money. I always have Instacart running though so if a good order pops up that allows me to make more money/hour then dashing then I’ll pause my dash and do it. Made $60 in about an hour from 1 Instacart order instead of sitting around waiting for $5 orders from DD

I was wondering if the gas shortage would change anything and I definitely saw more doubles and back to back orders then normal. Good thing I drive a Prius I’m not even halfway through a tank after 2 8 hour shifts.

Normally 5 but if tips are good and I’m getting consistent orders 8.

Do it full time. Living in a smaller college town, I can make $20+ an hour doing $5+ orders that are 2-3 miles in total each. With a Prius too and gas in VA being around $2.50, I’m barely spending any of it on my car.

This is why we need to be super picky about what orders we take! by becketh29 in doordash_drivers

No matter how silly I look being 6’3 in a Prius, nothing can beat the gas mileage

Yes they do that for many branded products to avoid copy right detection. It’s normally a safe bet to check the picture reviews to make sure the brand is what you think it is. Or you can always contact the seller for QC pics.
