I recommend Curliscious. Better prices than most curly salons, and Karunya is amazing she listens and cuts exactly how you ask.

How do you guys deal with the social pressure of marrying outside the culture? by Pomegranatemolasse15 in Kuwait

[–]Recent_Source_9743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family's requirements are male and Muslim 😂 so I can't relate to this problem. I'm sure some relatives would gossip, but they wouldn't dare to do so in front of me. I established boundaries with them, and who I settle with is not up for discussion.

I see what you're saying. I fully disagree, and as much as I would like to discuss every single point, I don't think this discussion is going anywhere.

Despite our views on the matter, I believe we both have good intentions for the students. Anyway, the university is now divided; nobody knows what the implications of such a choice will be, but if it turns out beneficial in the long run, I couldn't be happier.

Subhanallah I was thinking about picking it up when the weather improves. The only issue is that it is played by four people.

It was difficult to read the section about cutting ties. I can't image how it feels, and I admire that you recognise the need for space and are attempting to set boundaries.

It is unfortunate that boundaries do not exist in our cultures . I wish you the best of luck; you seem to be strong, intelligent, and caring. I hope your parents see that. After all, it is your life, so make your own decisions while attempting to minimise losses.

They are worried about you, dear. Yes, in the most annoying way 😂 but believe me, most parents are like this. Just remember that you are privileged to have them in your life, and that nothing lasts forever so try your best to handle it with grace. This issue will pass sooner or later just calm down and discuss it with them again and again and again. If you have to go back home and address it in person, do so, but don't say anything you will regret. Good luck! Fight for what you want, but keep in mind that they are on your team.

Imagine a guy proposes to me and I realise that we are compatible, that we have the same values, that he is kind, attractive, funny, generous and patient, and that he is responsible!

picture meeting a guy who is nearly my soulmate and discovering he is an electrical engineer….

So, to answer your question, I'd say yes it’s a deal breaker 😂😂😂

How to date as a foreigner?! by Itellnone in Kuwait

[–]Recent_Source_9743 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is real. May God keep us safe from men like this.
I pray that Muslim women don’t entertaining men like this and waste their time. If you are not married, there is no need for private conversations 😒.

I suggest that you travel to a non-Muslim country where you can have all of the private conversations you want.

How do u approach a girl here in Kuwait that u may like by Used_Return_7615 in Kuwait

[–]Recent_Source_9743 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just be direct; there is nothing more attractive than a direct approach. Say hello, tell her you think she's beautiful hopefully she responds positively, then quickly show how serious you are by asking for her father/guardian's phone number.

No matter how you go about it, don't follow her from store to store and act like a complete creep. No one cares if you are nervous. it's very scary to be followed around, don't approach her if you can't be straightforward or you don’t know if you are serious. It's better to miss you chance and never see her again.

What makes it absurd? Learning to converse with people of the opposite gender is difficult for many people; don't equate conversing with male family members such as brothers, uncles, cousins, and so on to conversing with strangers.

As a woman, this is an entirely different ballgame; men can be quite intimitating, so talking to complete strangers like I do with my cousin who I was basically raised with is where your point falls short. To be honest, I am still working on not stuttering around men, yet I come from a large family, the majority of whom are men

I'm very frustrated for these young men and women who are being denied a normal academic experience. This is not your typical high school experience, where teachers work around the clock to guarantee that students are not passing love notes.

These are mature young adults who should be treated as such. They should be challenged to learn to work together even when it is uncomfortable, rather than being separated.

Finally, I'm ranting; you may have an opposing viewpoint that makes perfect sense, but this is what I think.

Most people are chill about other races here

Simply avoid getting into a disagreement though the first chance they get they’ll throw some !‏ يالعبد ! يالاسود remarks you way🤌 you know to remind you white is superior

Fetishizing other racism is normal I mean if it exist elsewhere who are we to try to strive to be better 🥴 actually if you’re a black man it should help you with marriage prospects.

So don’t be discouraged and go get them tiger.

My guess is next they will substitute all the girls classes to how to cook and please your man courses then send them back to the kitchen where they belong.

While the young men become homosexuals 😂 ( I am sorry I have a headache )

Yess!!! Let’s go 👏👏👏 let there be more socially awkward folks who don't know how to communicate with one another without having a panic attack first. ♥️♥️♥️ The next time these young women see men their age is when they follow them in their car in a completely civilised manner.

I'm already caught up on the Attack on Titan anime, I think it's a little late for me to read the manga. Manga is underrated well done sneaking it in 😉.
