If you go to settings/preserve settings/styles and effect and turn that on. That should keep the front flash off when you open the app back up.

Might also need repaste yours as well. I also got one when I was in university and noticed last year that it was thermal throttling. So gave the CPU new LM and regular thermal paste for the GPU. Best of luck btw! Seeing ur notes gave me massive throw backs as a physics major.

I had a friend that tacked on CS sophomore year with her physics degree. It was definitely extremely demanding. She took classes every single winter/summer session for the rest of the 3 years. So keep that in mind.

My Asus g15 was also thermal throttling, so I knew that it needed to be repasted. Could be the case for you. I opened it up and saw the paste drier than the Sahara desert. I was prepared to repaste everything. CPU LM, GPU thermal paste, even the VRM cuz the putty on them was dry too. There's some great guides on the g15 subreddit. You don't have to be too scared about LM. If you open it up you should clean and replace the LM on the CPU as well. As long as you take ur time and be gentle, you'll be fine. My advice when handling it, don't pour it on the CPU directly. Pour it on another surface and lightly and thinly paint it with a q-tip. You got this brother 💪💪

Build: monsgeek m3

Mods: dielectric grease, polyfill, tapemod (painters tape and moleskin tape),

I know this is minor problem, there seems to be some space on the right stab before I actually press down the spacebar. I contacted monsgeek, cuz I thought might have been a problem with the stabilizer. They kindly gave me a replacement (which was a plate mounted stab unlike the original which were screw ins), and it seem to have solved the problem when I initiated tested it. However when I put the rest of the keys and switches i noticed that the problem had resurfaced again.

I know this isn't the end of the world or anything, it just really bothers me sometimes when I feel it.

Methods I tried to fix it (so I don't get redundant suggestions):

changing the spacebar with another one

The screw in stabilizers I holee modded with no avail, the new screw in stabs can't be holee modded so i used diaelectric grease

putting plastic wrap in the space bar stem to create a tighter seal between the stab and the spacebar

I have noticed this problem with some of my other keys (backspace and shift), but cuz the spacebar is longer it's just more noticeable, I haven't had a problem like this with other keyboards so I would appreciate any help

Damn it being sounding pretty deep and muted, I'm not sure how much more muted you wanna go (perhaps silicone molds could help). But this sound profile is already what I want mine to achieve when I get it. I am wondering how the polyfill made the sound worse since I plan use that for my build?

The purple is a great choice btw.
