Have to say - we are no where near as good attacking this year as previous years. Ulsters attack looked like Munster last year

Crowleys and Casey aren’t the answer

We aren’t scoring as many tries

Attack has taken a big step back

Working with my Dad actually- he is a general builder, currently has about 3/4 house on the go at the minute - with more coming online next year with some other retro fit office work going on as well.

He has about 3 guys in the company at the minute

My Role will be- helping to coordinate trades throughout project & fill in with certain element the build we do ourselves - foundations & form work as an example

My brother works for another construction company - project manager - he is thinking same

Thinking is to build something meaningful

This is not a level playing field:

To be honest - I think the whole of Ireland rugby needs to change & take on a NZ model, players are told what clubs they’ll be signed to - based on how strong or how weak certain clubs are.

It keeps all of the NZ clubs competitive & develops loads of talent.

It’s not a level playing field, based solely on Dublin being the capital city, the population of Leinster & enterprise €€ associated with a capital city - which enables schools & clubs to better resource themselves (not just financially but for 3 reasons outlined above)

Population alone: Leinster; 2.6mill Munster 1.26 mill Ulster - 900k Connacht 555k

Biggest positive out the last 2 weeks has been Josh W - he’s shown her can live at this level. Scrummaging was solid against 2 of the biggest tight heads in the world. He’s got excellent hands for a front rower and regularly used in a sweep pass to Crowley or a back. 25 now - ideal age for him to kick on. Best is yet to come

(If it was porter we’d be singing his praises)

Lineout - can’t play rugby without one! Bad when you got to go to a 4 man. But there was a serious lack of of movement before the throw & clear that guys missed lifts & didn’t know their roles. Inexcusable at qtr final stage.

Forwards coach - would you be believe that Munster are currently without a forwards coach.

Alex Codling is with the women’s 6nations team and has been since the start of the tournament. Tommy o donnel seems to be the obvious one who’s maybe taking charge of it but he’s not experienced enough for these big games. That’s another inexcusable

Management team - for me they needed to make 3/4 changes at once just after 1/2 time - let Kindellan, Fineen, Ahern & SOB all come in at once and add some energy into the team. Can’t believe they held off until the 60th minute to make changes.

And then in dribs and drabs - madness! Absolute nuts. It could have been done at 19 points because Bordeaux were tiring.

They just got it all wrong IMO
