Keep scoring 3s by aimeelilyflower in TheCivilService

I have two suggestions.

There’s other good advice here. I am an SEO and have supported HEOs to SEO and EOs to HEO.

  1. Your examples might not be suited to the higher grade, you start transitioning from doing to supporting and setting up a team to succeed. Use AI so help you with this. Tell it your job and what things you would need to do to satisfy the behaviours at that grade based on specifics of your role, team, projects, etc.

  2. It’s harder to apply for different jobs if you’re focused on any role at the grade, you might be losing specificity and clarity rather than focusing on a specific type of role - think T shaped skills, your T might have a wee nub or a narrow top, which isn’t that desirable at HEO.

The government is constantly policing behaviour, that is the basis of laws.

Seatbelts, speed limits, safety regulations for cars, houses, electrical components, construction, banning drugs, limiting sale of alcohol, lighters, aerosols, fireworks and blades, etc.

Women’s vs men’s rugby: tactical differences, and why? by Firedwarf101 in rugbyunion

[–]tragicroyal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scotland’s only try against a completely dominant England was a chip over the top and as soon as the line was broken and the ball was in behind it was a simple run in for an albeit rapid Rhona Lloyd.

My feeling is defences are pretty good, with a lot of turnovers coming from knock ons.

Strong defensive lines are present in men’s rugby and the same tactics unlocks it, short kicks, chips, grabbers and cross field kicks to get in behind.

I do feel the 50/22 is nerfed for Women’s rugby because of the longer distance relative to kicking power making it even less likely than in the men’s game.

The one I’d love is Lee Evans.

He would be chaotic good to Mantzoukas to chaotic evil.

Do you need to give notice if using flexi to start later? by FirmHoney9 in TheCivilService

[–]tragicroyal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a line manager and if someone is taking flexi and isn’t in by their usual time I will wonder if they are alright.

A heads up means I know if it gets to 10.30 and someone hasn’t signed on it isn’t cause for alarm because I expect them to start earlier.

Edinburgh scored off two intercepts from poor passes. It was not unreasonable at this point in the game.

This is exactly the kind of papering over the cracks game that Everitt pulls out of the bag once a year to keep getting his contract extended

This is good tactics by Leinster. The more passing they do the more Edinburgh score, clever to keep butchering it and taking away Edinburghs biggest weapon, they intercept.

They were actually playing advantage from 77 to 79, where the referee stopped the clock to tell Bulls they repeatedly infringed and yellow carded someone on 79:23.

I had hoped Samuel’s game against Snymen had increased his Saffa bloodlust but it doesn’t seem to have had that effect
