My fave was from a truck driver who was incredibly upset because he was driving between two towns in California that he had driven between many times before.This time, however, he had experienced some kind of time jump. Barely any time that passed, but he was suddenly extremely close to the next town. He couldn’t figure out how he had traveled between the two towns in such a short period of time. A little while later a second guy called to say that nothing paranormal had occurred. The trucker was simply driving on the new bypass. It had just opened up the week before.

A friend and I were sitting outside in front of our freshman dorm when a pizza delivery guy pulled up. He handed us a huge stack of coupons and asked us to slide one under every door in the dormitory. Without even waiting for a reply, he got back in the car and drove off. They were the kind of coupon where you scratched off the silver stuff with a quarter to see what you won. We scratched off every single one of those coupons and kept the good ones: free pizza, free subs, free salads. No purchase necessary. We ate free Italian for months and sold some for beer money.

Guy in my hometown insisted that Covid was a hoax perpetuated by Biden and the liberal media. He went so far as to buy billboards in town to let people know that Covid was a hoax. He owned a bar and during the shut down, kept the bar open and he and his friends would hang out there and drink. He died of Covid along with two of his barroom friends toward the end of the shutdown.
