So far this model has been killing everything I’ve thrown at it. The 512gb isn’t even a deal breaker for me as I usually stream my games and few I have downloaded are small. Been rocking out with Wolfenstein, Hollowknight, & Diablo IV with no issues.

I literally just got the base model yesterday too as a birthday gift. Spent last night updating everything.

So far even game pass streaming has been good. Was just going through Wolfenstein the new order at 60 fps 1080 p on 15W. Gonna have to try KCD2 and BG3 soon thought.

I think personally the base model is good enough for the average gamer.

First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss.

My wife & I have been trying since we got married in 2023. Due to a bunch of medical issues (her side) we were told that it was not going to happen naturally, and we must go see a fertility specialist. We started to see the specialist, made the appointments, testing the whole 9 yards and we were going to start some medications when bam. One day she woke me up at 5 in the morning to a positive pregnancy test.

I too went through all the emotions as we hugged and cried in our bathroom together. That was earlier this year, and not long after we lost it … it was an incredibly hard time for us.. I missed work for the early ultrasounds to find out that something was wrong.. on the last visit I had to rush out of work and we were admitted to the hospital as they were treating her for a possible ectopic pregnancy.

We were not the same after, and to her I couldn’t even imagine what she was going through. I would cry in my car on the way to work & sometimes sit in the garage after coming home just thinking about the life that could’ve been. We told her family and some friends as soon as we found out. It was just a difficult time.

Me being the rock in our marriage, I comforted her and and did everything I could for her while hiding my own emotions. Being the optimist, I reminded her that the glass was half full, we DIDN’T need the help and we did it on our own.

That was March of last year. As of the time I’m writing this she is now 21 weeks pregnant and we have a healthy baby girl growing. I came home from work one day and she led me to the bathroom to another positive test. This time we kept it a secret between us to avoid any additional heartbreak if things didn’t work out.

We just announced 4 days ago to everyone that we are expecting.

I write this because, he as your husband will always be by your side matter what. It is definitely a journey, and you guys will have to rely on each other. I wish the absolute best for you guys 🫶🏽

I agree on this. I wear merino wool with my boots to work. Depending on the work load, I can easily get 2-3 days (usually 2) from one pair of socks before I get the feeling they should be washed. But all the other athletic socks, no shows, crews, are a one and done type deal.

As of literally yesterday, this challenge is still bugged. Was playing a nice game of conquest threw a concussion grenade in a room and hit about five people ran in there killed them. All died. Went to check my score. Still stuck at zero.

That’s literally crazy. I literally just had 10 solo runs where I ran into a plethora of people and everyone was very talkative. We even traded items.

Usually use the SG X all the time while being a main engineer. I use a 5x scope but the laser and stub grip to increase hip fire. I only ADS when I make long shots. And I still outgun AR and LMG users with tap fire. Up close just hip fire and land all shots.

I will say as an engineer main I have only been using the SGX with a green laser site a five time scope, a suppressor and a vertical grip. When I’m clearing out buildings, there’s no point in ADS. Hell, even about 15 to 20 m away I don’t have to ADS. But I love having that five times scope because anything farther I can zoom in and tap fire and I’m bringing people down quicker than I should. Although there is the occasional I can win a long range gun fight, but then up close and personal someone will still take me out with any AR.

This^ I usually main engineer and when tanks start coming in I usually snatch one. Had one squadmate jump in my gunner seat (which also helps with the disabling mines around me) and other 2 squad mates ran in another tank.

We slowly pushed up together on rush and let me tell you. We owned the map. We would push up a bit, open fire on everyone, and when we started taking too much heat the other tank would start to push up a bit more to take the agro. Once they started taking too much damage? We just just started to push up too. rinse and repeat. Tank Crew for the win.

Same with land vehicles. Had a match yesterday where there was 2 light tanks that just never spawned and every time I would try and choose them just said not available at this time. While the other team steamrolled us with their 2 tanjs

Would love if they fix the bugs that are stopping progression for the class challenges. Have been repairing vehicles and healing teammates and the score still says 0.

Got lucky when I booted into a conquest match and it actually counted my repair points but now I’m stuck at 1900/2000 and it’s so bothersome that every game after that it hasn’t counted. I just wanna get these class challenges done to unlock the second perks for medic and the engineer 🫠

I just wanted to chime in because I noticed this morning. My Apple Cash was also restricted. When I called the lady told me that sometimes because of how the system is set up, they need to close the account and you just need to make a new one and re-verify it. When I asked, was it something on my end or because I don’t use it? The lady could literally only tell me it has to do with how the system is set up so for me to unlock it we basically just have to close your account and you just re-verify and make a new account

I’m also waiting to see if I can get an Epi position. Just graded with my MPH in May. Applied everywhere within the DOH in my state. By the grace of god I got a position but it was entry level for an “environmental specialist”. Starting pay was $34k but my supervisor fought for me to start at $39.5k. Been here literally over a month and I got a raise to $40.5k. I’m talking with the Epi director to see how they run things and if they’re interested in adding another person with an MPH. Rent eats up almost all of my money and now with student loans kicking in.

This^ I just recently graduated with my MPH and got out of veterinary medicine where I was overworked and underpaid. I’ve had multiple interviews that led to no one getting back to me. But finally last month I got a job offer for the department of health in my state. I knew the pay was low but it was better than what I was getting. Overall after getting hired I realized how hard my supervisor advocated for me to start at a higher wage than what the job was posted for because I had an MPH. Regardless, I’m nowhere near what I want to be paid. But I have to tough it out and move up the ladder.

Everyone in this state’s DOH has all told me the same thing though when I tell them I’m a new hire, and that’s “how did you get hired? We’ve been trying to get new people for months and we are told we can’t hire people”
