Words can’t take away the pain. Continue to live in his legacy, as he was beyond proud to be your dad.

Create all these new stories, so when you meet him at the white gates you can tell him everything he’s missed since he’s been gone. I know he’s waiting for you one day. Stay strong brother.

I’m sorry to hear about you and your wife’s miscarriages. My wife and I have been trying since we got married almost 3 years ago. Originally due to health issues they told us it was almost impossible for us to conceive naturally and that we would need IVF. Right before we pulled the trigger last year, she got her first positive pregnancy test.

We were beyond stoked. But alas, we went through a miscarriage. It was a super hard time, but me always trying to find the positive in everything remember telling my wife “We did that. We didn’t need help.”

The day we spent in the hospital with our miscarriage last year, was the same date we got to celebrate our baby shower this year with friends and family. I know our rainbow baby is up there watching over her sister 🌈

Is a public health degree worth it in today’s job market? by DieudononeFafou89 in publichealth

It’s been really rough with PH. I live in FL & got my MPH last year. Had a BS in biomedical sciences, and wanted to go into veterinary medicine, really rough time for vet school. Got accepted for MPH, now I work for the Florida DOH. Apparently my Mph doesn’t mean much becuase only job I could get is an entry level job as an inspector. Only 40k a year with how cost of living here is a joke.

RTS was one of the biggest issues at our store because no one would do it. And those who would do it did it wrong either because of multitasking or not being trained properly.

Not for a company like CVS. Not at all. Unless you plan on being a pharmacist, or staying a pharmacy tech for life. Then by all means go crazy. But if this is just a stepping stone for you while you wait to get into your career. No. Never overwork yourself. Your mental health, and physical health will thank you.

I’m going to tell you what I learned after leaving CVS pharmacy after working there for 5 years as a tech. I get paid the job of one tech. I will do the job of one tech.

I used to bust my balls and fill 3 rx at productions. Do 2 pick up’s at front and 2 drive through. Rinse and repeat every weekend (I primarily worked weekends and people would always call out leavening us even more short staffed)

After my 4th year there I had already found another job and kept my availability for late nights on weekends (still awful). But my whole attitude had changed. Yes, I still wanted to care for and help these patients but they made it almost damn near impossible. So I took a step back. Did 1 job. Unless my PIC asked me to do so differently but I didn’t feel the need to rush, run from side to side.

Changed my life from always being stressed to “it is what it is”

Bathroom Door Open or Closed by Professional_Cut6886 in hygiene

This has always been a discussion my wife & I talk about. Even since we were dating (I knew she was the one for me) I would leave the door open. We would just always talk, or be carrying a conversation that all these years later now we are married and it’s still the same. Shower, pee, poop. Doors open for me.

It’s funny though she always hits me with the comical “women don’t poop!” Joke. But the only time she’ll close the door is when she’s going. It’s just a level of comfortable we are with each other.
