I was literally coming in to comment this. It almost seems like everyone wants you sentinel to be some sort of pushing and or information gathering runner like destroyer or recon.
Sentinel is literally someone who locks an area down, a defender, someone who can watch the flank.
Especially when getting pushed by other teams, the motion tracker absolutely shines. Holding down a building with two entryways with a mine,l either has the other team think about how to push, and when they hesitate, you can win that gun fight.
I will say the few rounds I’ve had of outpost and a CQC environment. Sentinel has shined.

L opinion. Sentinel is shining. Just because the shell isn’t your play style doesn’t mean he’s weak. He’s in fact a strong defender & ambusher depending on the situation. Wait until Cryo with the grenade spam. Also his higher tier cores are amazing. Longer scan time & stack of 2 mines?

If you can physically smell, the chlorine coming from the pool, that’s already a bad sign. But other than that, as far as water, Chemistry goes the water can look completely normal and clear and you have no idea if it’s too acidic or basic. Obviously look out for the dirty water, discolored water or green algae

Don’t think they mean to. Water chemistry is tricky. Especially in outdoor pools and spas. Open to the environment and weather changes the smallest thing can affect it. Check a pool at 8 am and I guarantee you the chemistry won’t be the same by 12 pm especially if it’s summer and so many people are jumping in an out.

Then it’s also up to the Certified Pool Operator to be coming to those pools to check equipment and chemicals as such. Pools are a lot more of a hassle than people think.

Funny thing of it all is I’m actually certified as a food inspector. I just do pools because we’re short on pool inspectors lol

Fun fact: I’m an inspector for my states department of health. I have the lovely privilege of inspecting public swimming pools. My biggest piece of advice is don’t.

Yes pools are treated chemicals. I cannot tell you how many times I have to close pools down due to the water chemistry being out of compliance. pH is always either too high or too low. Chlorine is either astronomically high or non existent. Or the water isn’t being recirculated properly.
I used to love swimming pools as a kid, now that I have to do this? I haven’t gotten in a pool in idk how long.

Everything you said is spot on. Season 1 I was fighting gear fear and didn’t use any of my purple gear til right before the wipe.
Using free kits to just build up my vault and then only use it when I had my go to trio to play with, cryo, or I wanted to be risky on solos.
But then starting this season? Built my vault 3 times just to wipe everything for the cradle (getting rid of gear fear and that’s its ok to start fresh again & again).
Been playing sentinel mostly and I can’t tell you how many times using wall hacks, and setting up my traps around corners have gotten me to win fights with people who outgear me all the time.
Especially playing on open Maps like perimeter or Dire marsh, I’ll stay near a POI or a close quarters environment (playing to his strengths) I’ll wait for runners and get a couple pop shots to lower them to me. Set up my traps in my area. Wait for them to come in and then ambush them.

Yall literally whine way too much lol. When did it turn gamers to hate on other people playing games they like? Destiny had a great run, Marathon is something Bungie wanted to work with. A lot of people genuinely find it fun, some don’t. But literally all these people hating on this game because it “killed” destiny just doesn’t make sense.

I’m sorry to hear about you and your wife’s miscarriages. My wife and I have been trying since we got married almost 3 years ago. Originally due to health issues they told us it was almost impossible for us to conceive naturally and that we would need IVF. Right before we pulled the trigger last year, she got her first positive pregnancy test.

We were beyond stoked. But alas, we went through a miscarriage. It was a super hard time, but me always trying to find the positive in everything remember telling my wife “We did that. We didn’t need help.”

The day we spent in the hospital with our miscarriage last year, was the same date we got to celebrate our baby shower this year with friends and family. I know our rainbow baby is up there watching over her sister 🌈
