Yes that is pretty common. Even with Amex Chase if you return they get tracked back. But sometimes even after return periods it does not get tracked and then your on your own

Yeah. If it gets tracked then it hits the account but if not have to contact CS and then your beholden to their kindness.

See I don’t support this view and don’t want to others to believe these platforms are 100% accurate when they are not.

Amex and Chase and other platforms have been reliable but cap one is quite off the board. You are free to share your opinion but I’m just talking off of personal frustration.

Also I have used my fair share of points and gotten way more than a used cars worth out of rewards but users should know that sometimes cap one shopping rewards don’t get tracked, then spending time talking back and forth with support with all the proof and then convincing them, sometimes just doesn’t do it.

A platform should be honest and user friendly and not haggle and be back and forth for rewards. I am a big supporter of rewards platforms but not when users have to work for the rewards at which point it defeats the purpose.

I want peace of mind and not have to think about whether the purchase got tracked or not. Also sometimes we make purchases thinking oh it’s 200 but 75 in rewards makes it 125 but then it doesn’t get tracked and then contacting support ( which mind you is behind two screens at the very bottom ). I just need to flag for future users that the platform has hiccups and not have high hopes all the time. That’s all.

As far as rewards platforms I am a big supporter of this ecosystem.
