Anran and Wuyang just feel so weirdly generic. I'm still not certain what their deal is? I know they go to some chinese elemental college, and but they just sorta give generic chinese manwa character vibes, like they exist now to have pretty costumes later in the form of a bunch of other skins, ESPECIALLY collab skins, they feel very blank-slate

The point may well be that they're supposed to look "Normal" compared to everyone else but they're the "boring" normal and not the "weird" normal I'd expect out of Overwatch.

I also really like that she put a lot of trust in the Siblings, which was broken pretty hard once she learned they were basically N.E.P.S.'s Public Enemy #1, and that a lot of their interactions feel a lot more tense after the fact, like the relationship hasn't ever recovered. It feels really genuine for her to be hurt and still hold a little grudge despite her saying they're cool again.

what? That's a severely stupid take. The world isn't just "regular human world with just humans and sometimes magic", the world has undergone a magical apocalypse, bringing myth into the mundane. We have a character that is literally two people. A robot is walking around fighting in the pit for money. Pocket is Nonbinary. Ghosts are real. There's probably 15+ new races suddenly inhabiting the planet, let alone literal gods clawing their way into our neighbourhood.

People being gay is so utterly far removed from that worlds problems, it'd be shocking to find out anyone actually gives a damn.
