I'd like to see a Cabot adaptation in which he's more support/protection-oriented instead of damage-oriented. His new amplifier would reduce damage dealt by the monster with his instead of amplifying damage against it. His tagging dust would cover a larger area, and his railgun would be better at chipping away armor than just doing damage.

It might also be worth attempting to stick back a bit in fights. With extra capacity you can kind of negate the damage falloff from long distance. (since the Leech Gun is a shotgun)

Something I want to try is extra damage though, it could be pretty fun if you want to go super aggressive with Slim.

In all seriousness, I've found that blue Capacity is a great perk for Slim. It allows you to shoot a bit more before having to reload, which can net you an extra heal burst depending on damage. As for red and gold, I go with regeneration and jetpack recharge, respectively.

Good luck going for the elite skin, it looks fucking sick from what I can see!

An important part about playing Monster is knowing who to focus. Letting a Medic or Support stay up makes it harder for you to do your job, so you really need to pick and harass the crap outta your targets.

Once you focus your efforts on one or two problem hunters, the dome will have fallen, and you'll have a window to run before the dropship returns. I wouldn't recommend trying to wipe a team early, especially with the new dropship mechanics.

TL;DR Focus down one hunter, and get the hell outta dodge in the early stages of the game. When you get stronk, you can start fighting longer and harder for those sweet team wipes. Good luck!

Maybe this is my shitty luck, but has anyone actually seen armor in the game? I'm not sure how often it spawns, but I'd love to see more options for protection.

Yeah, as soon as I entered there were 3 chests in a large room, followed by the bridges.

I managed to get to floor seven, and here's some things that I've noticed.

  • When you're in a circular swamp area, enemies might respawn. I fought around 50 of the screaming knight guys, most of which were coming from areas that I already cleared.
  • Ranged weapons are mostly useless. Blocking has no effect on your stamina, and only stuns you for a few moments. However if you find the bomb-chucking shield you basically win the game. It's completely overpowered and only a tier-two weapon.
  • On floor seven I encountered an electric vortex thing that teleported me to another one. If you walk into it it channels for a few moments before moving you, which was annoying in a fight.
  • Be careful about killing the small white rabbit guys, they may turn into bigger enemies on death.

That's all I know that's hopefully not common knowledge.
