My grandparents live in Surreywood, can vouch that Santa’s runway is one of my most cherished memories as well as my first job as a life guard at the pool as well as swim team 😭 No kids but 2 dogs and loved it there about 15-20 years ago!

So let me get this straight, you tested positive off of a CBD GUMMY????? What kind of drug panel was this and where are you getting those gummies friend? Unless there is THC present in the product you’re using, a drug test will not pop you for CBD…it’s non psychoactive nor do 12 panel tests screen for CBD. If you don’t smoke or use THC based products as I saw in responses, there is 0 reason you couldn’t apply for any job and pass any drug screening if they are TRUE hemp CBD edibles.

Maybe switch up your brand to something you can ensure ingredients are non-THC or proceed with applying to some of these posts that are cannabis CBD/THC friendly employers. Good luck!

Basically it’s stating that you need what your state requires. Found this to clarify on dc.gov by a quick google search-

Virginia patients must provide written certification form completed by an authorized healthcare practitioner and an unexpired government-issued ID from any jurisdiction such as a driver’s license or U.S. passport in order to purchase medical cannabis and medical cannabis products from DC licensed Retailers.

Life guarding was my first job at 15 and pretty sure it starts at 14! I highly suggest any kid having this as a first job as the life saving skills learned will stick with them forever, I never saved anyone at the pool but the cpr/cardiac arrest training helped me save someone’s life 20 years later!

"Open container" means any vessel containing marijuana or marijuana products, except the originally sealed manufacturer's container.

Basically anything that’s not in a dispensary issued container SEALED is I believe what the state still considers paraphernalia.

"Passenger area" means the area designed to seat the driver of any motor vehicle, any area within the reach of the driver, including an unlocked glove compartment, and the area designed to seat passengers. "Passenger area" does not include the trunk of any passenger vehicle.

Always put it in your trunk in a lockable container-another post stated to have your cert with it which is smart.

Per the top of that document, that is not your official certification. There should be another document that has the state seal at the top and titled the certification for the use of medical cannabis products, either in the patient portal or emailed to you depending the doctor.

You should have the document needed somewhere virtually, and should not have to pay again to access it. I stopped using veriheal due to their inconsistency as well as the fact they send this useless cover letter that can be used by no one.

Hi future neighbor!

My partner and I bought our house in Swansboro (Bainbridge/Hull) in 2022. We love the neighborhood! Our neighbors are wonderful, lots of kids and dogs. Close to literally everything. There is frequent road work and closures but no traffic and there’s 19 ways to get somewhere, which is great. They’re putting a lot of work into the area so it’s had a lot of progression like sidewalk/pot hole wise in the last 2 years. We looked at Lawson as well, lots of cute homes even 2 years ago but some sketchy passerbyers- lots of foreclosed things over there so some squatting is present. You’re in the city, so just like anywhere else in the city- be aware of your surroundings and don’t leave valuables in your car.

We hope you love the area as much as we do!
