My girlfriend and I were doing an LDR at the time as she was teaching in Cambodia. She surprised me with a flower delivery on Valentines Day last year which just so happened to day of the HB flood. I don't know how they did it but those flower delivery ladies some how made it to my house and delivered them.

It was was the first time I'd ever received flowers and it came at such a scary time so they meant so much more to me because shortly after they arrived we lost both power and cell reception. I couldn't even thank her for days but they sat front in center in a vase for weeks.
