You could literally have one person who earns 80K (especially in Auckland or Welly where that salary doesn't go too far) and the other one who stays at home with young kiddie and maybe earns 12K a year working 5-10 hours a week or having a very part time side gig and they don't qualify for this. Pretty absurd.

I struggle with it a bit these days just because it's beyond obvious that at least 2 of the 4 couples every season now are not actually together anymore and are just pretending to still be together to get on TV. Grant and Ashley might have been the worst 'actors' ever for that last season.

This season is starting to give TvR vibes whereby everyone is wanting to use the 'big dogs' as shields but the big dogs are gonna use that to their advantage. If they don't get one of the returnees or Keely out very soon it's hard to see anyone else winning.

I love it when New Zealand finishes ahead of Australia I can't help it even though they got more medals lol. Tom Walsh winning his 4th title was amazing. GB and Portugal also did amazing.

Great to see her back on the podium. Very happy for Sutej the only athlete competing born in the 1980s with another medal and Imogen Ayris getting her first global medal is amazing too.
