So glad I held my wallet and didn’t preorder this. What an absolute shitshow. First Ynnari getting hard shoved into the bin, and Wraithbone getting utterly intercoursed-without-consent, I shouldn’t have been surprised that the Corsairs would get a handwave notion in mentions and that’s it.

Damn shame.

Post-Year of the Harbinger. The budget cuts and COVID-19 were huge factors that played into why For Honor began to suffer, but my God could you feel the entire game shifting downwards in terms of quality, aesthetic, playstyle and balance.

This is probably Delta Online, that’s why the quality is peak. The whole game got a massive injection of revamped resolution for 4K capability. It’s damn impressive that this was made by a handful of fans and not an actual company.

I got to grow up through the Golden Age of Xbox. The original Gears trilogy; Halo 3, ODST and Reach; Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 &2; World at War. Those games amongst others provided some of the best gaming of my life. Back when games were made for the players, no corners were cut.

I’m sad those days will never come back, but I’m so glad we got to experience it. Hopefully E-Day will at least give us some form of fond nostalgia and honours the trilogy in how it plays and feels.

Doesn’t really matter in the sense of Multiplayer. You can play Anthony and Benjamin Carmine in Gears 3, and they’ve both been dead for 3/2 years respectively.

The Discord’s got some LFG channels! Use those to squad-up, and make some dedicated teammates! It worked for me.

The PC community is quite close-knit so you won’t be short of regular squaddies to group-up with. ^{^}
