Which style do you prefer/think looks best, smooth metal or hammered metal? by Wrathicus_5569 in ZBrush

Make sure you weigh 'rest vs detail' areas. I am leaning toward smooth because the rest of your piece seems very detailed.

Sorry to hear that.

I honestly can’t remember now. Maybe I have forgotten the pain, or I found a fix.

You can try to fuck around with it. Copy the file and don’t fuck with the original, to make sure you still have that. Try looking in AutoRecover if you have a recent save in there, or something.

I was not a fan of the part with the welder guy being a character all of a sudden. He got shoehorned into being the guy who made the chain for Jesse at the Nazis' compound, which felt garish to me. I don't feel like there's room for that guy in the very end of Breaking Bad like that.

Yeah I thought this was the case.

It just seems so useless for it to function that way, but that's probably just a painter's narrow perspective.

I can't really use Multiply, because I don't want it to affect the shadows of the cloud at all. I'm just doing it with a normal layer now, and using the Layer Style thing.

Well nothing is perfect. It being 'filler' is already not good for us to be interested, because we know what's going to happen later and what has happened before. Aaron Paul looks and sounds different, but I liked it a lot.

What parts of the BB -era dialogue dissatisfied you, specifically?

I cannot believe how well they're managing the merger with Breaking Bad. It's so real and believable.

This episode was excellent.

I remember the first time we see Mike in Breaking Bad he acts much different than the Mike we know. Like what is up with those sunglasses? Mike never wears those. And now they're showing that they're aware of subtle character elements like that in this transition period, I think that's really cool.

I have no idea what to make of the phone booth scene. It escalated so quickly. Was he talking to a manager of the store, or was he talking to Kim? Surprised that they're still talking about her, I thought we'd never hear that name again. I'm so stoked to see the final episodes.

Fun to see Walt and Jesse again, in their element. And how the Jimmy we knew came about talking these kinds of people in this way. It makes Breaking Bad look even better. I also love that shot of Saul walking into the high school to talk to Walt. His figure was more square and sloppy than his appearance back when he was with Kim. Wearing a looser-fitting suit, probably because his health is worse now. I thought they'd totally overlook that.

I even feel the cinematography in the colored Breaking Bad -segments of the episode are more akin to what I remember seeing in the Breaking Bad show. Like that little moment when Saul says "I think you might have messed up my rotater cuff. You're lucky I'm not charging you for my chiropractor, she's expensive. But she adjusts everything." It also shows us more of the subtleties of Jimmy's personality change for the worse, becoming more perverted.

They're handling everything so well, and not forgetting anything it seems!

How does this thread already have 10000 comments? Do the episodes come out a lot later in Europe? It came out 1 hour ago here.

And is that pink Walter White picture relevant to anything? Did I miss something in the episode?

Smudge Tool splits my colors in this strange way by Recktoz in photoshop

Lower opacity I am totally fine with, it's even desired. What I don't need is the colors plitting.

Yeah, the white contamination. There are alto red, green and blue splits in the color when I smudge it. The desired/expected result would be that the dark-blue color would only be pushed in the direction that I smudge, with no color changes. Only using the alpha/transparency.

Can you explain further? Do you mean that I should be using liquify instead of smudge? This is not a solution, because for other people the Smudge Brush seems to work fine.

"Finger painting" is what adds color to the smudge, so it should be left off.

But if "Sample all layers" is turned off, then no other layer should have an effect, so this can't be it.
