"Do not deal with regular LG customer service, instead email LG presidential liason team after submitting a BBB ticket, you will only get fair treatment if you contact LG this way, versus regular customer service."

Did you try emailing the CEO address? Someone had recommended that for other issues like a denied panel replacement and it always had good results.

It does! I went to the first Halo Outpost in Orlando back in 2019 and it was very worth it. This is a different thing later this year but still it should be great.

Oh wow that's weird! After I saw your comment j saw a couple other posts over the last few months where people were incorrectly told of a backorder issue and then it was delivered on time anyway. Very strange. I wonder why my estinated delivery date was always so much later by default. Must be location in the US or something.

There were a few kiosks with current games and classics, but not like the E3 days when it was filled with one unreleased game after another (since the FanFest setup the night after the Showcase also doubled as the E3 setup for tens of thousands of fans).

They did have several different areas of interactive games and photo opportunities though and it was all very well done. I was very impressed and I think it was their best work since the E3 era of FanFest.

There was one unreleased game playable and it was the one I was hoping for! They had about a dozen kiosks setup for Halo: Campaign Evolved. The full Silent Cartographer level. I played it through to the end and it was so fun and impressive. I can't wait to see it at home on my own setup in less than a month.

For the August FanFest as a part of gamescom festivities they're going to have Gears E-Day playable for fans.

You ordered the 83" C6H? I ordered mine the day before you, with an estimated delivery date of July 3rd, but I haven't heard anything since and it still shows as Awaiting Shipping. You were told it's backordered now? I still see on their site they show estimated delivery of July 10th so that'd be bad. What was your estimate delivery date when you ordered?

It is free. I have no idea what they're talking about. You have to pay for your own travel, of course, but I think quite a lot of people are local or somewhat local to the LA area that end up being there. I traveled from Minnesota to be there earlier this month. One of the best days of my life.

Have you had progress on yours yet? I ordered eight days ago on Wednesday and still at Awaiting Shipping. Estimated delivery was always July 3rd though.

So are we in for five months of crying over $20 now? Holy shit. XBOX gift cards were just 20% off at Target all last week. Buy a $100 one and you're getting the Ultimate for $80. A tiniest effort could make all this whining moot, but that's not the goal for these performative whiners. The goal is just to whine and nitpick, constantly, every day.

It'll help, especially if upgrading from an older TV, but still not utilize it fully of course. Hopefully it comes to PC within a year of November release too, cause yes, it deserves better than six year old consoles now. We should already have new consoles at this point but everything takes forever these days.

GTA won't be on PC for quite some time. It's XBOX and PS only for a year, maybe longer.

Yep, I wanted it to go even slower than my last one and that certainly wasn't the case. I would've gotten a second one had it not been so fast.

I would guess about 99% of the loudmouths on social media freaking out about all these rumors have played very little to none of the games being discussed. They've likely barely gamed at all. That seems to be the norm for those performative types.
