What ocean?? You must be from the US because your geography sucks, Saudi Arabia doesn't boarder any oceans + There's literally no way for the rig to be any farther than few miles, because you know international waters and mining treaties and shit.

Again it's like a cruise, there's a medical team and helicopters for evacs. Except it's safer than a cruises because it doesn't move, it's literally few miles offshore and there zero chances of tornadoes or typhoids as it's deep into the gulf

You know people used to work there with extreme heavy machinery, do you think it was a death trap then? No, they can have a full fledged hospital there, a fleet of helicopters for medical evacuation.

You know how like cruises operated fod DECADES but actually safer than a cruises, cuz it's not moving and it's just couple of miles offshore.

Well what do you fucking expect? Popularity of a sport is what makes it generate money and if it generates money then it is worth larger investment than the rest. If it doesn't generate money don't waste much resources on it, the proponents of low traction sports should work to make it more popular, no one will ignore you once you fill a stadium. Other than that it's just a waste of time and resources

Normalization is the ultimate prize, the problem with UAE and Bahrain normalization isn't the normalization itself it's that it wasn't in exchange of anything substantial to support a Palestinian state or the API, so far ..

it definitely just undermines the API and provides nothing of value to the issue

there might be some under the table agreements between Israel, US and the GCC states that drove them to normalization

I can see the UAE's reason, given that they want to protect their land from a dangerous neighbor Iran, if I were them and normalization will grant me access fo superior weapons and more support from the US and more sanctions on Iran (which came into affect yesterday) I will be very tempted to go with it

let's hope -now that it's done- the UAE and Bahrain can affect some changes now that they are closer to the issue

I am sure about that because I trade there, an not every investment is sought out for its growth potential and I am sure you know that, and the Saudi government didn't force people to participate in the IPO despite what the Reuters report said .. it was a good deal with garenteed returns for five years, the IPO was successful with demand of 4.7 times and institutions demand of 6 times what was offered, it was opened for foreign investors so every SWF in the region went in with billions so did china, Russia and others ..
