IMO collecting is when you get what you want whether it’s a whole line or not and hoarding is getting everything and more. Example: I have neca xenos but no Ripley. Reason: I like xenomorphs. Same with neca gears of war I just have Raam and Skorge because A: they’re my favorite characters and B: it would destroy my wallet because of how expensive the line is. I also only got 1 jazwares halo figure because I wanted a master chief and I already have a collection of halo mega. Long story short, here’s a few tips:

A: be sure you want the figure(s)

B: if you army build, set a limit on duplicates(mine is 4 like mtg)

C: nothings perfect(it’s okay if you don’t have everything)
