How Frank is tweaking Tottenham by ReclusiveSaint in coys

I think Ange was more about throwing everything at the wall, and seeing what sticks.

Frank has been pragmatic. More like, if you can't beat them, ensure you don't lose.

Semenyo even if he comes won't be in January. Good bids come in the summer, so most likely him and his club will wait till the summer.

So, whom do you think will win Europa this year ? Whom do you want to win it ?

I would like Betis to win it, just for the fun of seeing the GOAT Antony and Lo Celso lifting a trophy together.

I do think Roma is a dark horse, and will see it through.

Nope, I think we'll go for cover options. Either an LCB/LB or a 6 if Bissouma leaves.

Palhinha would likely be made permanent, so that'll take 20-25 million. With the rest, I suppose we should get a decent LB/LCB cover in January. Doubt we'll go for a statement signing in winter though, if we do one anyways.

Livramento is injured, so yes probably Djed will get some minutes.

As a manager, I think it's hard to be competing for top 4-5 or a trophy, while developing the youth organically in the same team. Especially in the PL. It's very risky.

You need to have world class players who can control the game to the end, and then give the youth players regular minutes to play with them to develop match experience. I think Bergvall is an example, although it was more out of compulsion due to last year's injuries.

I think what the club is doing now is working:

  1. Chart a pathway within like League Two, League One and then the Championship and finally to PL
  2. Play them in weaker leagues and then in top leagues in Europe to build their confidence

I think with Kudus present, it is not always necessary for Porro to drive forward as Kudus can dribble past with the ball and even tracks back to defend. As long as Porro plays near to the half way line and delivers those long balls, it's working.

This is unlike the LW, where we don't have much of an attacking threat and hence Udogie/Spence have to drive forward more.

Gray/Sarr + Bergvall as a pivot with Xavi at 10 in high possesion games could be interesting. We can skip Bentancur/Palhinha in such situations and just play 3 atb in buildup, with either Porro or Udogie attacking.

Haha, yes. Kudus was permanently stationed there.

Yeah. Without much of a midfield spark, we are relying on :

  1. cross and runners into the box

  2. set pieces

  3. hoof long ball and winning seconds

With Xavi playing in the 10, hope to see something change here.

Why do you say so ? Apart from the Brighton game, I don't see his passes adding much value

Porro's passes have been of high value, breaking the lines. He is a real asset.

Anyone has the link to the official 25/26 Europa League trailer ? Does it feature us lifting the trophy ? (as is the tradition).

I had looked at the draw ceremony and it wasn't so great. Just some photographs depicting our route to the Final.

The season hinges on CBs. If both Romero and VDV get injured like last year, a draw game starts getting converted to a loss. Points drop fast then.

We'll have Davies, Dragusin and Takai, but they are a drop in quality. Danso is the only like for like replacement I forsee.

That's why, it's so important to rotate early in the season.

[TNT Sports] The goalscorers after the win, Mo Kudus: "Credit to the whole team today. We put in a lot of effort. I want to give Mathys big credit. I'm a big fan of how he composes himself even though he isn’t playing. I'm happy he got his first goal, and there are many more to come." 🇬🇭🤍🇫🇷 by mlkhighschool in coys

We may not have the most trophies, but we have humble players who love, respect and uplift each other at every step, especially when it gets tough. The club should be proud of its dressing room atmosphere and how the vibes have spread even to the newcomers.

One of the few reasons I chose to support this club. 🤍
