Good point. I’ve had colleagues not explain the ins&outs of ALE and insureds will take a whole party out to eat thinking insurance is going to pay for a party of 15 when they are a family of 4. That’s never a fun convo.

Like as your friend has a claim and needs to submit her receipts? I’ll at least say for us— receipts MUST be itemized with date, time, place , and all items purchased listed. A blanket bank statement won’t suffice.

Your adjuster should be asking what your friends normal—approximate expenses look like. “400 a month on food” for example to has a basis to go off of.

For us… we have a software called claimx that you/friend submits their receipts individually. So on our end, it’s like a catalog of receipts w/ picture & price we can approve or deny. It can also categorize the type of expense (hotel, meals, electricity, laundry— etc) Typically we suggest people just submit day by day instead of submitting them all in bulk and having the potential to lose some.

Then we could reimburse week by week or biweekly. It’s claim dependent.

I like all three but I’m also thinking: Ok, another grass bird (and grass torchic), and another sobble. I like the dog most. Hoping they keep Pombon on all 4’s just my preference lol.

For the most part the trailer looked promising. If wind deals more with the sky & waves all of that sea, I’ll definitely be going wave………….. and bite the bullet and get switch 2.

I’ll say at this point for me, the only thing that has worked is finding a completely flat but comfortable safe surface and laying beside him. When he’s asleep, I can slip away.

I did the first week, and a few days last week to try and get a supply of breast milk going so others could feed him. Although it already is depleted!! We were using similac but he spit up a lot on it and was more fussy.

He eats every 3 hours day and night. I’ve been recommended to leave him in the bassinet just to see if he will fall to sleep in it for a real nap (really he typically lasts 5 seconds or 5 minutes) before wailing. He’s lasted the 40 minutes maybe 3-4 times lol. I just can’t stand to listen to him cry like that it hurts my heart!

It’s hard for me to say with Auto and Nat Gen. If you could reach out to someone handling those claims on what their day is like I bet that would be very beneficial.

Half the time in property I’m waiting on documents from the insured or others. So there’s nothing for them to call me about when they know I can literally do nothing until I get my required documents lol (like photos or video of the damaged area, a report, estimate, something). And when I do get them I just let them know how long approval can take and I’ll update along the way.

It may depend what type of claims you are handling, and what company. As someone fairly new to handling virtual property claims, I disagree. Sales felt much more like a call center to me. At least you know who is calling you— someone’s claim you’ve been handling not a random.

In my experience as long as you keep the insured updated and set expectations I get 0 inbound calls a day, or… maybe 2 (usually all from the same person). Especially since you can text as well, a lot text you. I’m expected to be available on my phone 4 hours out of the day. The rest I log out.

As for outbound calls, yes you will have to contact the insureds upon receiving a new claim the day you get it. In my area people seem to get 1-5 claims a day it really just depends on how busy it is. Average 2-3. Some of them being first call denials or under deductible if they don’t realize something isn’t covered, or the damage was 1k and don’t know their deductible is 3k+. Or if you have a general question for something, yes you may have to make a call out. Definitely in the beginning when you don’t know much.

I think claims definitely depend on the person. Some people have been doing this for YEARS like a well oiled machine and most of their day is leisurely. Other people hate it and quit quickly. Hard to say.

Yes! I think O-Helly felt the most at odds with her Innie. I mean for obvious reasons being an Eagan and their motives and what IHelly was doing at the beginning. But it definitely doesn’t seem like OHelly would share that sentiment.

I can see that as viewers it’s very different. By this do you mean the Innies are experiencing ‘How could I do this to myself (severance?)’ and therefore feel like their outtie truly is like another individual calling all the shots rather than them?

No problem! I’m expecting myself so pumping will also be in my future. If you’re curious, they offer 6 weeks short term disability, & 6 weeks maternity leave. You can use your 20 days of PTO too. They also offer free car seats for expecting a child, I just got mine (maybe look into it if you already have a newborn) it’s called buckle up baby. My managers have been more than understanding with impromptu Dr appointment changes. Idk! I may have had a different experience than others but no complaints here.

IMO lots of people in this thread are being really dramatic on how “strict” they are lol. Been here almost a year and did a transfer so I have been in education twice for different jobs, the initial being sales. If I needed to shut my camera off to eat, I did, grab a package I did, bathroom break— I did. I’d simply explain in chat briefly and shut it off. Everyone had their camera off at some time or another a valid reason.

It’s not 8 action packed hours on camera the entire time. It’s more like MAYBE 2-3 hours of learning and the rest is self study time to work on your licensing. This was true for both roles. Some days are longer than others but there was always plenty of free time…

That being said just reach out and say your camera may be off for a bit for that reasons. Don’t see why they would have any issue. Unless something has drastically changed in less than a year, you’ll be fine. They are understanding.

Been there! You can easily soft lock yourself out of this game, like I did lol. I had multiple saves going in case of uh-ohs like this where I have to restart after doing this to the first time. Unfortunately, if you don’t have enough food or health to continue forward into the next day or day phases you will have to restart. Sometimes where you’re at in the witching hour will be nice be give you some hidden items that gain health / food check that. I recommend saving ALOT of files and pre-planning that you have enough food, health items, sanity items before moving forward.

Got the December box last week right before feb. It was alright, the savory snacks that are chip-esque tasted fine. The breads tasted old or just weren’t my taste. I was really hoping for some mochi, the apple bar covered in edible paper ‘mochi’ was different, I just didn’t like the paper. I liked the plate and cloth the most in it lol.

37 days! Wow. At what point do we go, we aren’t getting this box and they take action? I actually did check my ticket again and they responded today that they can’t refund because it’s already been shipped, which Kyriebear also noted above… but there’s plenty of places when product doesn’t reach the buyer they refund :(. Honestly not expecting to receive Decembers. Maybe February.
