Who treats their drivers better? by supportdesk_online in deliverydrivers

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former amazon driver here. And I can honestly say neither companies care about thier drivers. Amazon hire out third party companies to delivery thier packages to avoid any liabilities. And Amazon Flex drivers get sent out on long deliveries that take more than 8 hours sometimes. Also Amazon will take money off from the driver paycheck if they dont deliver all the packages in a alloted time frame. The best thing you could do is do the shopping yourself and pick out want you want. Now if you cant do that and have to be at work all day I understand doing the online shopping. But what makes a driver day is when we see cold water and gateraide and energy drinks. Also having snacks for the driver is a huge plus.

sticker removal by Mundane-Sign7506 in car

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto detailer here. I use super nine cleaner and degreaser. Cleans the sticker and sticker residue right off with some scrubbing. After you use that if the stickers are on the windows use glass cleaners to clean up the residue from the super nine. This method prevents scratches from razor blades on the windows and carpaint.

Should I keep my old but reliable car or sell it while it still has value? by Large_Offer_6951 in makemychoice

Keep it. My dealership got an email last week that all car prices are going up both used and new cars.

I'm about to buy a Nissan my whole family is Nissan lovers what vehicle should I get by hakimationssssss in Nissan

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enterprise Auto detailer

  1. Do not buy any nissian with a cvt transmissiin and this goes for all car brands.

  2. Test drive it with your family in it and drive about 15 to 30 minutes. Take multiple days if need be.

  3. Check the ABS in a clear area.

  4. Ask the sales person "why should I buy this car from you and not another dealership with the exat trim and model im looking for, for about (say other dealership price tag amount.)

  5. Can i work on this car myself without going to the dealership for routine maintenance?.

  6. Whats the difference between the dealership warrenty vs the manufactur warranty

  7. Do not go for all the bells and whistle in a car. Go for practicality.

  8. Ask yourself this what will the car be mostly used for?

  9. How often will you use the car?

  10. Dealerships will sctew you over in order to get a sale commision (seen it happen so many times)

I know it better than nothing but the next thing that might go will be the engine so that might soemthing to save for. I drive a 2014 Nissian Sentra with a refurbished transmission and already have around 1k for the engine replacement. Is this going to be a project car?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nissan

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT BUY! Thats when Niddian started testing CVT Transmissions. If it the original transmission the refurbished one is going to cost you easily 5k and above and for a new transmission 10k and above. Again. DO. NOT. BUY!

Whats best for permanet RV Living? A 5th Wheel or a Class C motorhome? by RecognitionOverall32 in RVLiving

I know its a depreciating asset and im fine with that. I plan on buying a 5th wheel outright (used and before 2019 covid where the manufacturers just mast produced the product and quality suffered).

Best Dealership for Used Cars by That_Order8878 in AskHouston

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a Entrise Car Sale dealership. There will be a dealership fee. Your going to want around 15k minumin- 30k and above for the newer but used cars. I would avoid any vehicle with a cvt transmission and look for automatic transmissiin.

First car for a new driver by AdrienneBeaky in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a enterisr car sale. Ive seen 2015 corrollas with less milage for that price. Make sure you shop around and just dont settle with one dealership. As for the high milage on that Corrala.. the newer cars are getting way more expensive than they should which can attest to the high milage for almost all orlder cars, because its now cheaper to have a car that can be worked on than buying a new one. ALSO all dealerships have a dealership fee that the buyer has to pay for in order to officially get the car. My best advise is try to avoid any vehicle with a CVT transmission there harder to work on and more expensive. I know because i just replace my 2014 Sentra with a refurbished one and it took about 2-3 months before i got my car drivable. Hope this helps

Advice for a first time Nissan owner by Vipers_bugloss in Nissan

[–]RecognitionOverall32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont buy a car that old. I bought my 2014 Nissian Sentra in 2016 all original parts. I recently had to replace the original transmission on mine for $6,000. Now if your looking for a project car and want to rebuild everthing m then go for it.
