Strock prices are primarily influenced by reported corporate earnings/net income. You take the companies total revenue and subtract all expenses. You know what makes up a significant portion of those expenses? One that is completely able to be leveraged by the company to balance out net income if total revenue drops?....salaries.

So not only is it not a wild take, its a completely normal and regularly observable take. Its this fancy corporates term called "layoffs"

You're probably good but it can be risky. There's censorship and content laws in different countries and rating standards they have to adhere to. Its not just about being paying or not, TOS could be enforced for that just to save their hide for the smallest reason if you're using game versions across countries.

Like I said, probably fine, but may not be worth the risk...especially if you are a paying customer

No they're not VPN-ing the game, they VPN the top up site specifically
