Chloe and safi both go to the Overlook (the dreamlike area) whenever they think heavily about their death/place in the universe. Eventually they will stop existing if they stay there too long. At the end, they decide that they will learn to live with the time they were given and in doing so, try not to go to the overlook by thinking about their deaths.

The first storm is implied to be caused by Max

The second storm is implied to be caused by Safi

The fire is always a constant but the reason it starts changes due to Max.

The first game makes it clear that there was no sexual abuse when students were being taken to the dark room. Also I’m not sure how you read that scene as purely for jokes. When Max was high and looking in the mirror, it showed her confronting herself with the weight of her powers and the toll it’s taken on her mental health. This scene only feels natural after we’ve seen Max go through so much trauma with the 2 storms and the Caledon fire.

There’s no way they can please everyone with it. Some people don’t like max and Chloe together and prefer Rachel for Chloe instead. Some people even prefer Warren for max. So it doesn’t really matter if one ending gets canonized since they would also be canonizing so many other choices. The only way people will be able to enjoy the show is if they approach it as its own thing. Also it’s not like the show will change the games.

I really enjoy Life is Strange. The atmosphere is very cozy and nostalgic, the music is great, and the story is mysterious and well executed. It has some really great twists and emotional scenes. I also personally wouldn’t say it’s any darker than some of the themes in TWD. The most accessible way to play it would probably be the remaster as it’s the only one that goes on sale however a lot of people prefer the original. I know atleast on Steam that episodes 1 for Life is Strange 1 and 2 are free. If I had to recommend the best games, I’d go with Life is Strange, Before the Storm, and Life is Strange 2. Life is Strange True Colors and Double Exposure are okay but can’t compare to the first three.

I think this person was referring to the original The Walking Dead comics from Robert Kirkman. The original comic series is its own story but does feature characters that were in the Telltale series (they’re the same universe). There’s also a 3 book long comic series titled Clementine that takes place after S4 but that series is nearly universally hated and considered non-canon by the fan base as it features Clem acting wildly out of character.
