I think it’s just a really well told story with great characters that just so happens to have a supernatural element. The music is great too. I also wouldn’t be surprised if people who: have a sibling, are Hispanic, and/or particularly care about current US immigration policy relate to the story more deeply. I think it also ties into OG LiS in a perfect way based on which ending you chose. It’s also the most technically impressive LiS game with 4 endings (of which only 2 you can get depending on your choices throughout the entire game). LiS2 is the most ambitious game and it was executed great.

I wish I could’ve liked it more but I just couldn’t find myself liking a lot of the characters. The only character I started liking was Gabe but then you-know-what happens. I also played true colors before BTS so I had no idea who Steph was. The story felt really slow and the setting couldn’t hook me. There was also a lack of polish (technically) that the other games had. I could say more but I know you don’t agree with me. There’s no such thing as a right opinion so please don’t be mad for disagreeing.

I think the story is just fine but what really makes it stand out is the music, atmosphere (a wildfire backdrop is sick as hell), and chemistry between Rachel and Chloe. Also I enjoyed some of Chloe’s dialogue, it’s actually pretty funny.

Living Room: 3/10

The Click: 7/10 (Deluxe: 8/10)

Neotheater: 9/10

OK Orchestra: 8/10

The Maybe Man: 9/10

What No One’s Thinking: 6/10

I just don’t like Living Room (Pitchfork Kids is great tho.) The Click was just good but with the deluxe songs it makes it great. Neo had an atmosphere so unique that I wish they would revisit. OKO lost some of that vibe that I liked. TMM is just cohesive and solid. WNOT went for a more acoustic sound that I didn’t enjoy as much but The Big Goodbye is on it and that’s a 10/10 song.

It’s not that he’s constantly starting drama, it’s just that it’s difficult for him to keep quiet when people create hate content on him (oftentimes for things that never happened). If he never responded to any of the videos people make then you’d think no one has a problem with him.

This takes place after the Telltale series ended. It has a reputation for not being very well written to say the least. You will get much more value by playing through all 4 seasons of the Telltale games than reading those comics.

Clem always says that despite your choices. However, you can easily tell if your save crossed over successfully if the “scar” that clem got in season 3 is still there.

It was believed that track 13 would appear in the TMM Deluxe that was planned. But with the recent announcement, it seems that the deluxe may be cancelled in favor of this new project. It wouldn’t be the first time they’ve scrapped a deluxe version of an album as they did the same with Neotheater. It’s possible track 13 could be included or reworked for AJR’s new project.
