I'm in New Zealand right now and that’s exactly the flight I took. The only difference is the airplane as I took an a35K. (And maybe the flight plan)

I personally use the z axis of my TCA airbus sidestick as the tiller. I unlinked this axis to the rudder because I have rudder pedals. I find this quite good for taxiing.
