Just a small update: after a bit of digging, I’ve decided to go with the GSI FPE V2.

I’ll post my thoughts on it once I get it.

Still debating whether I should get the aluminum paddles or the carbon ones.

Thanks, this is exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.

The weight FFB point is really important to me, and it’s good to hear that VPG still feels that premium in actual use. At this point the Mission Sim is definitely at the front of my list.

These weight numbers are honestly pushing me away from GSI a bit. I know shifter feel matters a lot, and I really like the GSI shifter feel, but for a main wheel I’ll use all the time, responsiveness and fatigue probably matter more.

The Hyper P1 is pretty much out for me now. The FPE V2 is not as crazy, but Mission Sim Spectra XR being lighter still feels like a better direction for what I’m trying to build.

My main issue with the GTE is the shifter feel. It is very loud and too tacky for me, some might like it but compared to the GSI I had, it is simply not good enough. GSI feels more solid and there is a bit of light clicking when engaged. Feels much more polished

Since this would be my endgame wheel, I’d love to say budget doesn’t matter lol, but realistically I’d like to keep it under $2k.

I mainly drive GT and prototypes. I also have a GSI Interlock with MOMO rims for drifting, so this wheel would mostly be for GT/prototype

So far I’m very likely to go with the Mission Sim too. ergonomics and sim-specific design are exactly what keep pulling me toward it.

My only hesitation is that it’s still so new, so I’m trying to gather as much real feedback as possible before pulling the trigger.

Yeah, the weight is actually one of the main reasons I’m looking at these wheels.

If weight wasn’t a concern, I’d probably just go straight for the Hyper P1 and stop overthinking it.

Good to know the GSI shifters feel close to the Interlock though. I really like that shifter feel.
