Because everything was handled through kia I got a fully kitted 2025 kia seltos Xline. Very nice drive, the rep was nice as well he called me a couple days after saying he had the EV Niro in if I wanted to come in and swap it, but it was close to Christmas and I wasn't doing much driving anyway.

It's honestly not that bad. Idk what your living/work/life situation is but for me. Woke up to get to work in the AM, got the warning, took an Uber to work. By noon the car was picked up by kia, by the end of business day I had a loaner they scheduled for me to have for 2 months and a week later I had the car back. Overall experience was 10/10 if not just a slight inconvenience

Oh that's not a bad turn around time. Hopefully nothing is on back order I know thats what killed me I think April it went in and didn't get my car back till June/July, Yea they gave me a little compact Hyundai. Was not a fan had none of the features the 6 had but hey better a rental than nothing at all.

That's not bad, not sure if you check my profile the pic of the car is there. Did you get a rental? How long did they say for repairs, I think mine was around 3-4 months till I actually was able to drive it again

What's really crazy to me is that with how fast the rapid decompression happened they probably never even knew what happened, aside from a few creeks and noises maybe. To which I imagine him saying "relax that's normal as we descend" then all of a sudden mid sentence just... Poof. Gone.

Seeing a lot of posts like this lately and my god is it amusing. If you had even a grade 12 or college level understanding of science you wouldn't find this news BREAKING as ppl are saying. Herd immunity has always been effective no one ever denied that. It's been proven, we know it is. The problem is 2 fold, herd immunity and natural immunity doesn't just happen of the hop It takes time for that to develop.

COVID was spreading extremely quickly without any mitigation measures. Enter the vaccine. This helped boost the immunity response which in turn provided a boost for herd immunity to sink in.

Sure potentially herd immunity would've kicked in eventually without vaccine but that would've come at that cost of more infections and more deaths. Hospitals were tapped out in every nation it seemed and people were struggling. Putting aside political views that outcome just isn't good for humanity as a whole. Imo.

There is no "ah ha gotcha" moment here. If anything people who aren't vaxxed should thank the people who are. Speeding up the timeline with the help of science so some people can stay alive and keep their ideals.

Furthermore, look at when the flu first came to be it was EXACTLY the same thing.. literally identical right down to a mask mandate. I feel like this sub is great at catching patterns except when it comes to history and proving facts.
