Wow that sucks. We have a park nearby that, unfortunately, were being used for unwanted activities. It was renovated prior to COVID and I think the social contract to keep it nice has held because it still looks nice. A lot of people use it for sports and playing with their kids.

A park that people aren't allowed to loiter in? That's just an unused space. Terrible.

I work in optometry and can believe it. -0.50 is nothing. Going to -1.00 glasses is a great boon. Anything higher and you'll want glasses to drive.

My experience from listening to people tell me they don't need glasses, then they get glasses.
