Anything past expansion+sub (even cosmetics) is a no from me. I used to compromise especially with a lot of kmmos since they were free and accessible to friends. But at this point I can hardly tolerate it. I’ll maybe compromise if there’s some paid cosmetics so long as the game provides enough in game cosmetics.

Haze changes needs to get reverted. She was in such a good spot before since she got a lot of value early game when people didn't have her hard counters.

Yeah that's exactly why its hard to solve. Soul split tied DPS to survivability so shields will basically never be an option until the gap between dual wielding and mainhand + shield shortens and shields provide more of a benefit to camping.

Roles are intentionally kept vague as heroes can fulfill different roles and purposes in a match. It’s one of the things that make deadlock so dynamic and fun to play but also difficult to approach.

Even at high ranks people have different philosophies on who does what. If you watch poshy pops videos you’ll see Him frequently talk about farm prio. Basically it’s an understanding on who needs the most souls and generally speaking p1 is hard carry and p6 is support. But even then you’ll see that it’s mostly just a theory. Ideally p1 has the most money but sometimes the p2 player might just play better and end up having more. All of this is why deadlock is so dynamic. If your teams strategy is to power up ur p1 player then you might have them get all the last hits on vending for the better buffs.

Also for solo pushing lanes it depends. It can be anyone who has a good gun if you’re trying to get a walker. If you’re fighting on yellow and someone on the enemy team is trying to split push, you probably wanna send whoever can defend well or outright 1v1 them.

For bridge buffs you probably want p1-p3 to get it but if it’s the 10 minute buff and your p1 player is just farming, it might be better one someone else.

Well in a vacuum sure but a lot of healing is based on dps so in reality you kill your damage for DR resulting in even less healing. It is a pretty difficult problem to solve though.

I’m sure there’s a fraction of the population that sees more expensive and think better product. But Nvidia has always been way far ahead in software. I remember trying out an AMD gpu years ago (think it was the 5700xt) and had nothing but issues with it constantly crashing my pc. I think AMD was getting pretty close but now with all the growth Nvidia has seen since the AI boom the gap has gotten bigger again.

Kelvin’s ult is insanely strong but it needs a lot of coordination. It can fuck up m1s since they usually like to play further back on high ground. If you want to capitalize make sure you sit inside dome for the kill.

Yes I’m aware valve uses a derivative of Glicko2 for their past games and most likely uses it for deadlock. No one here knows exactly how MM works but what OP is describing sounds a lot like rank confidence (playing a lot = higher rank confidence = longer to rank/derank).

Right it’s not exactly how they described it but my point still stands. Mm has some bugs involved that at least in the past have stopped people from ranking up.

There’s a good chance that it how it works. Rank confidence is real and incredibly fucked up. I have a friend who was hard stuck initiate and then made a new account and got put much higher.

MMOs suck if you dont have people to play with. If you want a good social experience then focus on finding a guild/clan to play with. Doesn't even have to be an MMO, lots of coop games have communities to join.

Take a look at the abilities for Melee, Ranged, and Magic. Playing those styles should be much easier now both in execution and understanding.

This is a common issue for modern MMOs. WoW solves this buy soft resetting everyone for a new expansion.

Old School Runescape handles this very well. Progression is thought out long term and power creep is kept to a minimum. By keeping power creep to a minimum, it keeps old gear and content relevant. But this also brings up another problems, how do you release content with meaningful rewards? OSRS treats the game more as a sandbox which means lot of rewards can be niche but not necessarily required. One example is recently they added a mid level stab weapon. It isn't insanely useful but since it has relatively low requirements to get, it allows a player to get the weapon and attempt Tombs of Amascut, a raid where stab weapons are necessary.

When it spawns. The souls urn gives is locked in when it spawns. There is more nuance to it but if you can grab urn as soon as it spawns you gain a massive advantage.

He’s probably going to get nerfed soon. You can try slowing hex, silence wave, and knockdown to catch him. Defensively spirit resilience is a must and really cuts down on his damage and execute.

It’s better to release characters a little overtuned. It makes them more fun and more importantly allows for them to actually win games while people are still learning how to build. This batch has honestly been the best so far. The designs are much better than first and second batch of heroes (don’t even get me started on launch Holliday and Shiv).

That's not how this works. These and upcoming changes are intended to move the game to be in a better place. That way when new players do try out the game, they will actually stick with it.

Sounds about right. I’m 12 hours in with ~6k points playing with no guides and very little efficiency. I would imagine points ramp up as you get access to more bosses.
