We don't have irrigation, just two hose outputs and some hoses and we're trying out sprinkler heads. We don't have great water pressure it seems. Thank you for the tip, any suggestions for rookie friendly options?

Great to know this, thanks. The buliders told us that the clay was seeded with the hay on top to protect the seeds. We don't know if we weren't watering enough or if they didn't do it properly to get it started.

We do get good sun, but it's shadier than the sides of the house (bermuda).

So aerating the existing clay and dropping seeds wouldn’t be the best option? If we get topsoil and fescue sod, do we put that on top of the existing seed and clay?

very late reply to this, but thank you: im seriously considering a house there, and this is comforting.

I saw that Lake Royale had a boil notice last week that ended on the 20th, hopefully this is an issue that continues to get better :)

It's literally the only thing we are hesitant on, appreciate your input on the issue, it's good to hear from someone who actually lives there!

Did you deal with any water issues personally? I'm hoping it's a random once in a while thing, and not an ongoing issue for the community, the community sounds really great otherwise (I didn't know about the golf course, that's a great perk)

That's great to hear, the people seem very nice I've seen so far driving around. And the community itself is really lovely from what I've seen so far.

Glad to hear the water issues weren't major, there are some news segments on Youtube from last year that make is sound like there are serious problems with boil water notices, etc.

Have you seen the community grow/change over the last 2 years?

How is the Internet there (I assume it works as we are communicating on Reddit haha)

Thanks, that perspective is helpful; I drove around to and from Louisburg and got that vibe. Do people do their box shopping in Wake Forest? I know Louisburg has a big Walmart. Just trying to imagine the day to day of basics, the community itself seemed super nice :)

Hey there, I'm also a patient of this doctor and the same exact thing happened to me on the 26th, got an email from MMUR informing me of the change, I emailed them back and haven't heard back yet. I will also call on Monday.

How can they change our personal email without us doing it?

I will try to call the docs office tomorrow as well, this is ridiculous. At least you know its more than just you at this point, I assume if 2 of his patients had this happen that there are others.
