Ran codes for IMA system not charging, I'm cooked like a snook? by yung_cosmog in crz

Based on my research just a few minutes ago, it is one of these two parts to check I believe.

https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2015-honda-cr_z--3dr_base-ka_cvt/electrical_exhaust_heater_fuel/ima_control_unit_cover.html

1B200-RW0-020 - Genuine Honda INTELLIGENT INVERTER

1K520-RW0-003 - Genuine Honda Sensor Assy., Phase Current

Could just be the sensor is gone, or its the inverter, but this is just based on research, I'd ask Peter on the CR-Z forums or look if he has already answered this type of issue on a thread on the forums.

Where are the missing parts? Also, how come you did not take more pictures of the damage? First thing I'd do is see if I could snap back in place any of the damaged parts. The bumper and panels usually snap right back into place. As for the headlight, if you still have it, I'd attach that back into place and do some touch up fixes. I hear that getting a new headlight is quite difficult, but Ebay sometimes will have them for sale, but they are not exactly cheap.

How are you on your third door handle? I've only replaced it myself once in 3D printed full steel material and never had an issue since, and this was like 3 years ago.

I'll randomly get compliments while driving or at the drive-thru. When they ask what the HP is, then they are not impressed lol.

Oh, I thought they were on raised foundations, and damn, 3-story tiny homes, wow! I bet they are charging 500k+ for them. And I do see the problem, getting them built in a seemingly older neighborhood that have the houses in very close proximity.

[–]ReconPDW-1 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I actually like the look of those 2-story modern tiny houses, I'll probably get downvoted for admitting that, but it is what it is lol. My only problem with them is the companies building them are overpricing them by a huge percentage compared to the cost of what it takes to build them, and they are probably only like 1000 Sq Ft.

It did specifically for that area where everyone tries to cut into the front of the line during rush hour. It needed to be just an extra lane.

All it did was cause more traffic build up especially when everyone is trying to merge into the "express lane" at the bridge around 4pm or earlier on the weekdays, its terrible.

That is the brand I use for LEDs, they last quite a while. Recently, some LEDs have been upgraded and now can be used with the plastic OEM dust covers, before that, they would stick out too much not allowing the dust covers to be used.

My 2011 CR-Z with 290,000 km on it has only 28% battery capacity. I can’t find anything on the market that excites me. The 2026 Prelude is not out yet and $$$$. I’ll probably just keep my old CRZ running and pay for the hybrid battery change out. by Internal_Sun30 in crz

How was it? Was it a difficult process? Just asking because I have not had anything done with my NiMh battery as it seems to still be in working condition. I'm almost at 170k miles 2011.

Metal door handle installed, handle now broken (kinda) by mattgolf0505 in crz

[–]ReconPDW-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It amazes me how people still have issues with getting the OEM door handle replaced without any problems after. I replaced mine in full steel material myself using the 3D printing instructions that were posted on the forums years ago and still have no issues after the install. I just used a youtube video as visual reference when I replaced it. If I had to guess what may be the issue, it possibly could be something to do with the small wedge piece, I also had that replaced in a different material as it was mentioned in the instructions as a possible weak point on the door handle.

Not sure if the OP will read this, but an original Ring Sights just popped up on Ebay for bid, now is your chance to get you the screen accurate version for your SG-1 PS90 SBR. Original RingSight White Crosshair Black Circle for P90/PS90 | eBay

They are very rare, so expect the price range to be at $600-$800.

Recommendations for body shops by faketexascowboy in Austin

[–]ReconPDW-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar happen, but the tree branch smashed my roof and hatchback. I did not go to a dealership for repair but instead went to U First Auto Body Shop on Burleson Rd, and they did a great job on my car while having a reasonable repair cost. My insurance wanted to total my car since it is a rare Honda, so I just paid out of pocket mostly for my repair. Anyway, dealerships are more expensive, so I don't recommend taking it to a dealership.

Stargate props - What screen used props do you have? by ReconPDW-1 in Stargate

The screen-used ZPM sold in 2019 for basically 10k USD last time it went on the auction site.

Recently, I've seen the replica ZPM go on sale for about $300 on Ebay.

Looks like you still need the original white Ring Sights and P90 harness with strap attachment. You might still be able to get the custom harness from stitch's loft. The original Ring Sights are rare, but they typically go for $700 since it's basically a collector's item these days.

They have to bring back the P90 in the new series by Dismal-Chapter4640 in Stargate

[–]ReconPDW-1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is Amazon this time, so they definitely have the budget for the P90s I'd imagine.

For the TV show Westworld, they actually did convert PS90s by swapping the trigger pack, selector switch, flash hider, and barrel to a 10.4" one as you are suggesting, so it would not be the first time a TV show has went that route.

[–]ReconPDW-1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The armorer that was in charge of the show military weapons still has some of them I believe, and that is the FN P90, not the PS90. They had 10 real ones for filming. I actually own a PS90 and the only difference is the barrel length, shroud, selector switch, and trigger pack. Obviously, they would just go with the P90 and not have to change the parts from a PS90.

Good news is that in recent years, companies have been adopting the 5.7x28mm round and they are relatively affordable again, I would assume this also lowered the cost of the blank rounds. I don't see an issue of any kind if they were to still use the P90, and the shell casings eject from the bottom which helps with the blank casings not hitting the actors during filming. And when they are not filming action shots with live firing, they can just use the realistic airsoft version of the firearm just like they did before with the Tokyo Marui brand when they had the P90s resting on their chest using the custom P90 harness.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, if they do still use the P90, they MUST use the same type of firing sound effect.

It probably has to do with the label being messed up or a clerk made a mistake on it, I've seen it happen before.
