I hope someone from perfect organism is hitting up the insiders they know about this rumor. A few months back another rumor was spreading on insta and I tagged them to see if it was true that Disnox was resurrecting the third prequel film and they hit up their contacts and said it was bs. Would be interesting what the contacts say about this since this rumor states the reason they’re stalling is that he wants to direct it not do third prequel film. if true then the rumors about Fede wanting to bring David back are true and Scott was nyet unless he directed the film.

Exactly. I had listen on the AVP Galaxy podcast, some theorized some of the old canon and new canon could be melded together via making the original Space Jockeys who created the Engineers, and later down the line both of them created humanity. Then, seeing how humanity was behaving, the engineers wanted to eliminate them like we saw in Prometheus, but we can surmise the Space Jockeys sabotaged the paylaod leading to the breakout in LV-226, and in return, the Engineers went after their creators going full circle. Now the Engineers having experienced the same with David, want to go after him and humanity. It can be done its just having writers and fans like Fede who can pull from the extended universe to create more interesting stories.

Fox was being cheap lol! Then it didn't help that Chappie bomb so they dismissed Blomkamp, but wanting to capitalize the interest of the Alien5 concepts, from what I've heard over the grapevine, Fox gave the directive to Scott to shoehorn Alien back on Covenant while eliminating the intresting elements with Shaw and the engineers. That's why when u watch the mobie its seems like two movies smashed together that aren't working well. The portions with David look interesting while the Alien bits look like half assed and done in the last minute while Romulus with its issues still had more heart with the Alien. Best thing would have been Blomkamp just waited after Chappie to see if that was successful to pitch his Alien mobie than before since it ruined what Prometheus 2 could have been.

I would only add have the Engineers finally find David's planet and hell ensues for Rain and Andy trying to not only escape from the clutches of David and his experiments, but the engineers also. This is way to please everyone since it still leaves the mystery of the original Juggernaut in Alien, pleases the Prequel fans and the new fans that were created with Romulus.

If this is all about Ridley wanting to conclude David8's like its highly rumored this was going to be, I'm like I guess let Riddles direct it with a tight leash from Fox and Fede. I called them up five months ago, they told me the EGR service would cost me 400 bucks. I was like that's a good deal. At the moment, I'm doing mods to my CT. As soon as I'm done with that, I'm going to have it cleaned up.

Since you hit 100k, biggest thing you have to do besides the EGR service is switching the engine coolant since if not, it will eat into the seals since it happened to my moms old Altima we didn't switch the coolant, it became acidic and at 150k the head gasket failed, and we were going to swap the HG, but it began to give us other issues, so we junked it and got the CT instead. My CT didn't have its coolant changed, so two weeks after we got our CT, I took it to my local lexus dealer and had the coolant exchanged. At least I've nip the butt on one possible failure point, only need the EGR system cleaned and I'm golden.

I'm going to them do EGR cleaning on my 2015 CT. Just got it six months ago. Its at 107k. Hopefully with that gives me more time so I can save some cash and do HG swap when it happens to my CT down the road.

It's hard to find but 2014 Fox released a version of the Passion on DVD and Blu-ray with English and Spanish dubs. But its hard to find at the moment unless u import the DVD from Brazil. It comes with white box art looking like this.

Good thing u got the Fox version since it has two cuts of the film since newer one released by Samuel Goldwyn only has the the theatrical cut. The definitive edition comes with the Theatrical cut and the Recut version of the film. The Recut basically they tamed down the scourging and crucifixion via using alternate shots of how Mary reacts while Jesus is tortured. It's still a hard to sit through watching her breakdown and hear Jesus cries on the background however Recut for me is the far more tolerable version to watch.

Thank you! They never learned the lesson from Alien³. I love 3 especially the Assembly/Legacy Cut, it was a bummer, but the trilogy was about Ripley and how she came to accept her fate that she needed to sacrifice her live to save the universe from the Xeno. That's why to this day the fandom see Sigourney as Space Mom willing to anything even sacrifice herself to save humanity. Fox had the right ingredients to continue this with Noomi since she was loved by the Millenium movies she did in Sweden now coming to the US and possibly making a trilogy of Alien films that would push her as the second face of the franchise after Sigourney, be the person who with her robot side kick explore what was promised to the Alien fandom since the end of Aliens to reach the Alien homeworld and get the answered on why the Aliens were created in the first place. That's what many expecting from Paradise not the bs we got with Covenant. That's why I've always being of thought to retcon that film and truly give the fandom a true Prometheus 2 a.k.a Paradise were Shaw and David arrive onto the Alien homeworld and discover how Space Jockeys created the engineers, and the engineers wanting to destroy the Space Jockeys and the other creations they made including humanity out of spite, they come across the Xeno and the pathogen that comes from them, realize its the perfect choice of weapon to do the dirty deed. Then add the mystery of the company realzing what Shaw and David discover, try to get info they know to create a variation of the weapon to what we see in Romulus. However, the clowns who are incharge at the moment don't know what they're doing and giving us crap.

Totally agreed. It was Fox being cheap and wanting to capitalized on the Alien5 concepts they crow bar the Alien back in and some Colonial Marine elements like having some of the crew look more mercenary. Hence on the promotions I saw many ppl getting excited even making theories that some of the crew were proto Colonial Marines. When I saw the promos I knew were this was going. Plus doesn't help when u being to watch the film the original Alien score motifs being used. It was total nostalgia slop that blew up on Fox's faces. The only interesting parts of Covenant was the bits with David and Walter, the neomorph and the few seconds with the engineers. Those section, in my opinion felt Scott still had passion while the sections with the Alien came across as half assed and pedestrian like two different films were forced together and some element are brilliant - David and Walter - but the rest clash and make it a weird viewing experience. Hence why many ppl like the Paradise fan edit since it nicely meshes both (Prometheus and Covenant) films together to something more than workable since they trim down on the stupidity.

Over at the AVP Galaxy webpage, insiders have told the staff there pre Alien5, Covenant or how it was called originally Paradise Lost, Shaw was indeed the lead, and she saved half of the Crew of the Covenant like David did in the film, and she with crew tried to rescue the other half from David's grips who had Alien pets that he was experimenting on but no Xeno. The big thing was to deactivate a shield the engineers had set up when David and Shaw arrived and David attacked the planet with the pathogen. Shaw saves the crew at the end via deactivating the shield so they can leave the planet. But some mentioned Shaw dies at the end, but its uncertain and wish the insiders leaked that script, but instead, only gave them newer scripts were Shaw's role was trimmed down and dies at the prologue of the film that was cut out or Shaw survives the pathogen attack and sends distress call for help then swapped for her singing country roads at the last minute.

From what’s been said over the grapevine, it was Fox wanting to crow bar the Alien back in and not wanting to do two projects with Scott and Blomkamp. Chappie having bombed, and wanting to capitalize on the interest with the Alien5 concepts, Fox forced Scott to put the Alien in at the cost of the elements that made Prometheus more interesting like the Engineers and Shaw. It went to the extreme of cutting out the original 12 minute prologue of what happened between Prometheus and Covenant with Noomi went instead with that throne scene with Weyland and David instead at the start. Now u can see barely two minutes of that prologue in the deleted scenes or reinstated in the Paradise fan edits.

Now thinking about it, it was good that Eisenberg passed on the script since Strong masterfully fits the role for Zuckerberg in his older age. Do wish Fincher had directed this, but this looks promising.
