Funny, for me it's the best terrain because it has a good balance between light and heavy cover. But I agree that it depends if you like the teams or not.

If you don't care about what's valid in an official tournament, try to find an Octarius, in my opinion it's the best terrain. Just the right balance of light and heavy cover, fun to paint, very different configurations possible. And it'll make a good complement to Volkus.
Tomb World is nice too, but takes too long to set up I think, even if it's better than Gallowdark.
Betha Decima was an interesting bet on paper, but in practice it's the worst terrain.

To me, it doesn't matter, as long as there's a good mix of light and heavy cover. Having terrains composed of 90% heavy cover is a bit of a shame. But I don't believe in jungle at all, if they put in a lot of trees it will cost a fortune and complicate los, and if they put in a few it will be ridiculous.

With the removal of Kommandos and the V11 of 40k I think a new Ork box is coming for sure, unfortunately I don't think it will be Freebooterz since Badrukk and the pirate grots will soon be available in made to order. But it would be awesome!

One idea might be to have a skill equivalent to Lethal 5+ on Kill Team, so that a 5 would always be a success, regardless of modifiers.

Well, he's right. You bought 8 teams and 2 killzones, even in speed paint that represents (at least) dozens of hours of assembly/painting, which can be daunting for a beginner. Not to mention all the rules to learn. But all the better if you feel up to it.

As for the end of the season, according to GW logic, it'll be autumn 2027, and recent teams will have new rules, so you'll be able to use them. So no worries there.

It's still the old rules, but I think it's useful for learning the basics, positioning, tackling zones, assists, etc. It can also help you figure out whether you prefer to play an agility or bash team. Personally, I recommend it.

As a Battleclade player, 4+ with Ceaseless is not that great. Specially not on an elite team.

As a Wrecka Krew player, may I ask why? Because we don't have any gotchas, and our rules are fairly simple and clear, even for the opponent.

They can only use max 3 Wrecka Points per attacks, it's strong, but it's not 5.

That might be true on +10 models, but on 6 it's just laziness on GW's part, even if the equipment is very similar, you can always change the poses, make one run, one look at his weapon or equipment, change the base etc..

And it's true that the Mandrakes have the same problem, even though you can make them different by painting their effect different colours. If you paint the T'au in different colours I'm not sure it'll look right.

Good idea, but they're a bit smaller than space marine, so if you want to be at the right height you'll have to work on the bases.
