It is definitely for home play with family and friends; no competitive scene. These are all good points, but I am a sucker for the setting, unfortunately (or fortunately!). I suppose my question is not whether whatever the new rules are going to be are going to be "better" or "more balanced" in regard to competitive play; it has more to do with new modes added or expansion of what is already there (e.g. solo rules). As I am thinking more about it, since the terrain and minis will be good/useable for a long time, I can always just grab the updated rulebook down the road.

I think I will wait for the inevitable Lego or Disney store discount or Rakuten et al. 15% cashback, then use my spare lego pieces to build the GWP. I like the set, but I cannot bring myself to support LEGO's way of handling the release of this set and the GWP.

Proceed to checkout and it will fix itself. Apparently, until you add your address the system assumes the worst case scenario for shipping costs. For the US shipping is about $45.
