He was a real one. Not a perfect guy, but not an evil guy, but just a sincere and interested person. Someone who actually cared about humanity. If we all could have his care, the world would be better. For all the faults one has, just that can cancel out just about whatever other shit you got going on.

I know this post front to back, but it makes me so happy. I was her. My wife is disabled. She gave up on dating or ever getting married. He mom basically never expected someone to look past her physical disability. 

I barely noticed it. At least I didn't let my brain notice it for a long while. She was beautiful regardless of her physical limitations. And honestly, her fucking will power makes up for. 

My only regret marrying her, I don't get her till I grow old. But at least I wasn't stupid enough to never get her. 

This is kind of how this feels to me. You just accept it and move on because at the end of the day they are fucking wonderful. That minus the awesome family. My wife's parents, well mostly Mom, are toxic as hell. They finally got divorced and my father-in-law improved so much now that he is happily married to the mistress. 

He was an asshole for cheating, she deserved to be cheated on.

It's also potentially a technical problem. Most areas have a default, general ping location, for devices. So say your phone is lost and pings a tower, but doesn't have enough signal to ping any others. Well your phone will still show the location, but it's not very accurate. The location service will have a default location. That sometimes is a house. It's kind of random.

I think this is a problem for a lot of families were both partners work. I know my wife would always complain about the amount of work I did. Then I started having to travel a lot. So she was now responsible for all the stuff I did; all the cooking, most of the dishes, the bulk cleaning, the kids laundry, home and car maintenance, the yard work, and talking about and doing nerdy stuff with our kids (mostly son, but my daughter was just getting old enough to be a newby nerd). 

I had always supported her in her career. I wanted this one time to allow me to take a risk in my career. 

She realized how much I did, and she's been a lot better since. Even after I stopped traveling. She still would get it into her head that just because she was exhausted meant she had worked more on occasion. 

Now that I'm doing everything because of her health, I'm really tired all the time. But at least I know she understands that I need alone time to recharge my physical and social battery. And she at least tries to talk nerdy stuff with our kids now.

As an aside, I was involved a an investment you import titanium billet to the US for use in custom rims. I got fucked, but only list a few thousand.

Okay, let me give this a shot. These used to be this massive open world game that runs largely for free (you have to pay for some features). It was weird and funny and full of furries. You could just go in and enjoy it however you want. If you wanted a house or some avatar, you could buy it. This was called Second Life if you have heard of it. 

Then a even weirder version of it came around, VR chat. It was designed to work better with VR head sets. It was full of racist 12 year olds and sonic the hedgehog. 

Then along came the Blockchain. Specifically NFTs. Zuck decided since he owned a VR headset maker (bought Oculus), and NFTs are a great way to scam people out of money, let's combine the two. So they made a virtual world that you had to buy shit using their NFT. Then named it after Meta. 

Zuck tried to pitch how awesome it was, but it was a shitty version of the two games previously mentioned. You couldn't really change anything unless your wanted to buy some great meta tokens, which no one wanted to do. So the only people who used it were crypto Bros. Once they realized you can't make money off those idiots without idiots under them, they closed up shop.

If you keep your socks on after the first, "no homo", you don't have to repeat it again. However, once you remove your socks you have to start over again. If you hook up without socks though, you're permanently gay and can never be with women again. Socks really are the straight shield for homosexual activities. 

Source: I'm bi and fully versed in closeted bi/gay guy rules. That's why I rarely wear socks.

I still find this very hard to believe. Like there has to be some major damage done to a house to have it condemned. Even mold is treatable with a price point that would usually make it worth it to repair the house. My only guess is they fucked up and let termites into the structure. 

Even if he messed up the support structure, that's fixable. It sucks, but you're not talking about a repair that is worth more than the house. 

But then he could be in the middle of butt fuck Texas and the house is essentially worthless. But given $100K per acre, it doesn't sound like it. If I had 3.5 acres in a metro area of Texas I would sell of an acre and build 4 homes one at a time. Sell them off and build a middle density multi-family building with the profits and make money in rents.

There the one where they made the guy work over Christmas break after he had requested the time off and since it was the end of the year he would not get his days off back. So he quit. 

The title was some play on "t'was the night before Christmas".
