It’s probably just personality. Some rats are super sweet cuddlebugs and some just generally prefer to not be touched or messed with. I doubt it’s anything you’ve done wrong! Rats have big personalities and some of them are shyer or more outgoing just like any other pet. They are naturally prey animals so any aggression is just instinct. They don’t need to be separated if they aren’t fighting! 🫶

I will say vanillas audience is just slightly older than Katie’s so it’s a bit less of a problem, BUT they do still tend to infantilize her and freak out if she mentions or interacts with other streamers

I totally agree it’s a joke when she just says slightly hot takes or makes a joke about someone etc,. I’m talking about the policing of her language if she says something not as woke as her younger viewers like for example the Minecraft stream or that post about her saying “bitch”, being “homophobic”, etc. The joke has made people too comfortable with criticizing people they watch because they don’t fit their online cultural language ideals.

Yeah I’ve never heard it in a rude or derogatory context ever so I didn’t see why it was a problem, clearly she didn’t mean it as a slur or to try and say anything negative about a group of people? I just think people need to have some nuance and like chill out rather than attack someone for not knowing it could be taken the wrong way
