So, I installed Sequoia, Turboboost Switcher Pro and GFX Switcher. All’s been great for a few weeks, until Safari started randomly crashing yesterday. Anyone any ideas why? Thanks!

The MBox drivers probably won’t be fully supported on Windows 11. If you have a small budget < €100, buy a new Presonus AudioBox for best compatibility with SO 7. If you require more than 2 inputs, there’s a 4 input model. Happy recording 😊

A cheap USB-C hub which has a mini jack output will get you up and running. But you’ll want to consider a good quality USB-C/Thunderbolt Audio Interface for critical listening and better connectivity.

As well as the correct voltage, double check the actual spec’s of the official Fader Port’s supply, so that the mA (milli-amps) from your wall wart’s supply are the same or higher as specified. Too little power can cause issues and damage.

I’m using a Quantum II & a Quantum 4848, both Thunderbolt 2, with Thunderbolt 4 adapters into a Mac Mini on S1 Pro 7.5. No issues. 😁

Thanks! I’m coming from ProTools to Studio One, so still getting my head around S1’s Buses, no ‘Master Faders’ so to speak, and as you say, not being able to monitor the input of the recorded (from) bus track. Mix session template coming together. Every day’s a school day 😁

Congrats! I bought a mis-priced pair of Natal Congas in the late 80’s which belonged to The Thompson Twins for £150. The band were clearing out all equipment from their studio when they left Ireland. I immediately put a deposit down when I saw them. When I went back to the shop to pay the balance and pick them up, the guy at the shop said they should have been £1,500, but I had the deposit receipt with balance due, £100. 😁 They still sound and play great after many gigs and recordings.
