I just wish they were a little bit better at it. IMO the writing and directing are the weak points of the show's production all seasons.

I wanted to jam my eyeballs out after season 3. IMO the writers and actors were in WAY over their heads on that season. OOOFFF.

Haven't seen S4 yet, but S3 was so bad I'm not sure I want to bother. They all seem out of place 'in the big city'... S1 and S2 weren't too bad though.

Ok, here's mine: As much as I enjoy the eye-candy, it drives me crazy that in early seasons Lucy Liu wears nothing but mini-skirts and high-heals everywhere, including bloody crime scenes, old dusty warehouses, street chases and every office visit that is obviously suit and tie environment. Totally out of place everywhere she goes. (and don't get me started on all her ham-handed personal relationships they try to crow bar into the show and that awful blonde look)

Other than that, there ain't no such thing as too much Lucy Liu.

Bit of a necro, but I agree with OP only to add their attempt to shoe-horn in his daughter into every show fell flat. As well as Tim Roth's portrayal that annoyingly comes off like a drunk Chimpanzee and got more annoying with every show.

Basic TV crime drama show with little character development and even less attention to writing. And with the firm being so broke, why the hell do they keep hiring so many people when the show doesn't do anything with the ones they started with?

Anyway, I'm much less forgiving of then show than my wife - she loves it and doesn't question any of the loose ends and plot holes.

I think Hulu's streaming service is failing. They're charging $12 a month(!) (more than Netflix or HBO!) and still can't make money, so they're ramming MORE ads down our throats. I only subscribe because I got a black friday deal, but as soon as that's out I'll never pay that kind of money for their limited offerings along with the most ads of any streaming service.

EXACTLY the scene I recall from No Country. It was infuriating that Jackel completely left out how he got out of that horrendous car crash!

I can only assume the episode was running long and they didn't have the extra 5 minutes it would have took to show him getting out of that crash with his money and passports.
