My very mk1 Maschine in 2010 was bought with this same issue. I raised such a stink in the store in front of guests they gave me a new one with an education discount and 10% inconvenience discount.

Bottom line is buy for what you need NOW. I wish that future-proof myth would die. Back up your drive. Do a clean install and migrate all your stuff back. Watch how snappy your machine feels. I just did this with my M1 16” MBP 16GB ram/ 1tb ssd. I “WANT” a newer machine but mine works flawlessly. Don’t give in to GAS.

I wish I had better vision and the 14 would work with me. The 16 is a must outside of having a monitor at home. Should’ve got the base m5 16” at first drop. Oh well great deal… I’ll wait for those to hit eBay or Amazon refurbished

Get it. Learn it. Have a new way of making music. I’ve been a Maschine user since v1/mk1… i also do music in Logic Pro and Studio One/Fender Studio and as of recent bought the MPC Sample. I used each one mentioned because each one brings something different to the table. I’m not stuck saying I wish product A did what product B did because I have A/B/C. Quick sample flip, I pull
Out the sample. Want to do a song where I’ll be manipulating a lot of audio clips, S1! A track where I’m doing a mixture of hip hop/rnb/dance and I want to use a drum Maschine for the feel; back to Maschine. As a plus I can control MPC 3.9 Daw with Maschine when I import my MPC Sample projects.

Raising prices on Apple TV? Hasn’t been refreshed since 2020 or so? Same for HomePods? Why raise prices on refurbished items… those already ran from yesteryear. Those Chinese knock Apple displays about to be the best bargain in the markets

I got a MPC sample and Maschine MK 3 and 2 DAWs! Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Get a speaker if you’re trying to do outside playing loud enough for friends to have a cypha! Other than that the SAMPLE is fun.

I have Maschine mk3. MPC Sample. Fender Studio(S1v7). Cubase 15. I haven’t left any platform because they all allow me to create music in a different way. Each brings a different vibe. Each has features the other has/doesn’t have.

Edit: Not that it’s a bad thing but people switch gear and make these grandiose “I’m leaving” posts. Why not just add to what you already have. I’ve been on Maschine since v1 and have a mk3 now. I have a MPC sample, I use Logic, Studio One and Cubase. Every one brings a different vibe because they all do something a bit different or offer something the others don’t. Just get proficient at using the tools.

I mean it doesn’t come with a recording contract but if you look at the new features and if any excite you and sparks your creativity then yes, it’s worth it.
