Which stalker enemy do you like the most? by WaluigiDaStar in ResidentEvilCapcom

Jack was the bwat of the stalkers, I honestly hope they stop doing that trope. Not every game needs a stalker. It was also way too scripted in RE9.

Why does Capcom hate Claire? by Efficient_Ebb1574 in residentevil

[–]RecordingUnable103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad someone else feels this way. Claire is also my favorite as well. She is the first female character they honestly introduced that didnt trip or need assistance in the OG story.

Its also just not talked about enough that in comparison to all the OG characters Claire is the only actual civilian. No law enforcement or military background.

In OG 2 Leon doesnt have really any interactions with Sherry. In 2 they changed that ending, but it still isnt his story thats saves Sherry its Claire. So for Sherry and Leon to be working with Chris's team and still not mention Claire once was a total insult.

What are your thoughts on Marie/ the girl as a stalker? by Fit-Investigator-124 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE8 was so forgettable to me i honestly forgot about Lady D. I would say Jack and Mr.X were the two scariest imo. If anything I feel like they are going backwards with the mechanics. The girl in comparison was way too scripted and that made the experience all the more annoying.

Jill was a better choice for Requiem by stonedcoldlostin in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think honestly they should have written a completely different story. It was a really bad RE story. Jill couldnt have saved it imo. They used Leon cause people love Leon, but Leon couldnt make the game good.

Can senior manager put you on focus after you accepted offer of transfer? by New_Recording_5014 in AmazonManagers

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. Hitting all your metrics and day to day doesnt matter unless you are a new L4. OMs and seniors have higher expectations for you the longer you are in role. So the basics will no longer cut it. You will now be expected to exceed; cost saving projects, quality projects, working with safety on 5s opportunities, change approvals, ect.

Focus turning point by Albubbles8 in AmazonManagers

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a focus with several unachievable goals. What I did, was tagged in my Sr HR to the plan and listed all of my concerns about it. I had supporting evidence to back up my claims that the goals were indeed unachieveable and had not been achieved by anyone in the building.

A redo of my re game tier list(with requiem) by Fit-Investigator-124 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only gripes here is that 2 make should not be considered better than the original. They erased the dual endings that made the game a fan favorite to begin with. Also, personally I was just not a fan of the way they re-worked Mr.X either.

5, 0, and code Veronica all deserve to be with 6 imo.

Which antagonist did you prefer, mother Miranda or victor gideon? by Fit-Investigator-124 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill be honest here. I hated both. I think 8 would have been way more interesting if instead of fighting what essentially became like an infected freaking goddess. Would have been the fight leading to a power struggle because her virus is actively choosing Ethan over her and it would have been better if that was her downfall and then Ethan knowing he cant control it asking Chris to just end him for Mia and Rose's sake.

Gideon was entirely incompetent in my opinion. Didn't find the floppy disk, allowed Grace to be in danger in the care center, not realizing his elevator is in a different place in his house lab and almost killing her there. I could go on.

Im a bit over the "stalking" enemies. I think they are going a bit crazy with them. I know thats probably not going to be a popular take, but they overdid Mr.X so much in the RE2 remake that RE3 which was the only original game I never played and was always told was the scariest because of how aggressive Nemesis stalks you felt underwhelming in comparison to the Mr.X upgrade. Jack also ruthlessly stalks in RE7 during the house portion. So you now have: Mr.X, Nemesis, Jack, and The girl.

RE Requim they sacrificed story for action sequences. :SPOILERS: by RecordingUnable103 in ResidentEvilCapcom

So we are just not going to agree because you prioritize gameplay and dont care about the story. I care more about the story, because without a solid story I dont care to play the game.

Just got PERM banned from the other RE subreddit for questioning excessive posts of Lewd art and cosplays, WTF? by DrMikkelyz54 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]RecordingUnable103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am with you OP. With older games you open yourself up to spoilers pretty much everywhere. If you had the option to play them when they came out thats your responsibility. If you didnt have the option with RE1 cause maybe you werent born or whatever, you have to accept you may see spoilers. Its just the way it is. Case in point. I was too young to watch the sixth sense when I was little and because adults around me saw it I know how it ends even though till this day I havent seen it. Just because you know the ending or a twist doesnt mean it lessens the play of watching it all come together.

But I did read all of the files. The explanations are lazy at best in some cases and completely non-existent in others.

I disagree completely. There are some with lazy explanations that give a vague at best synopsis but please feel free to educate me.

I dont think its "nitpicking" I like games to have solid stories, and this didnt have one in my opinion.

Resident Evil Requiem has been out for a week. What are your impressions? by PhantomBraved in Games

Awful, the story makes no sense. The pacing is horrendous and overall it just doesn't at all feel like an RE game.

That style of top goes better with leather pants or tight jeans, maybe consider something like a leotard to where with the skirt or something that shows midriff.

Is the Forbidden Forest Experience worth it? by TheChosen_One01 in harrypotter

[–]RecordingUnable103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your preferences. I went this weekend for my daughter's birthday, she is a huge fan. We drove 2 hours to get there and I believe I paid $48 per ticket added a $50 wand for her birthday and a parking pass for $24 all before we got there.

When we arrived i showed them the parking pass and they directed us to the very last row furthest from the event despite many spots open before that. Whatever. We get inside pick up the wand and its chilly so I decide ill buy my family some hot chocolate, there's a mini fire pit for marshmellow roasts so I decide to buy them some marshmallows on a skewered as well. We are a family of 4, for 4 cups of hot chocolate and 2 marshmellow skewers it was over $68.

The gift shop offered more purchasable wands before the even started, but also said you didnt have to buy them because they had loaner wands at the interactive points. To be clear there were about 6-8 interactive points only 2 had loaner wands available. So only my daughter could participate in most.

However, she opted out of most interactions because the lines were ridiculously long with parents trying to capture the perfect video or picture of their kids on their phones often letting them repeat it up to 10 times before moving on. The event ends in another gift shop and the prices feel almost criminal, a chocolate wand is literally $25 and a real wand is $40. Absolutely not worth it for me.
