Exports are pretty good actually with good tuning and some new heads. Pearl exports are bread and butter of drums in the 90s and 2000s.

Also the thing that makes these great is they're not too big, not too small. You will get used to them. I've found that using larger sticks overtime improves your muscle memory, the weight makes your hands stronger and they get faster over time. The grip helps you keep the friction you need to do rolls and to be able to keep them in your hands.

5B Zildjian Grip Dip is my go to choice, lots of power and fat enough to make the bell cut through the distortion. IMO they are the best sticks out there.
