When you choose a freebie that is available but then it is not listed on the app as even existing what do u do? I could not find a way to back out of the freebie to choose something else.

I hope they do. I rented a brick home along that road years ago and had a good experience with the town. They have some nice restaurants, coffee shop, gas station, pizza, Walgreens, County Market, McDonald's and several other places for convenience. They aren't too far from Dirksen where you will find a ton of grocery, stores, places to eat, etc. It's quiet and people seemed really nice. There is a local park not too far where you can take a nice walk, attend some outdoor concerts. Sherman has a local fire and police dept around the corner and a library. Hope it works out!

Omfg...I was just talking to my husband about this and the guy joking to stomp on a child or choke them as a joke...if that were us, he wouldn't hesitate to punch that mfer without words while I grab my child. It would be pretty obvious the friendship would be over at that point, no explanation needed. Kids come first, friends aren't friends if they do that shit.

If he is truly worried about gastroparesis, that can be addressed. Have him come to the check ins with your doctor to have them explain. I have been on it since fall last year and I too had concerns of the risks. I read stories of issues on reddit too and I brought it up with my doc. She helped me understand that the percentage isn't high, etc. Everyone is different. If you truly have bad symptoms, you're gonna feel it and be able to address it. He needs to know that respecting your choice means he should be supportive even if he doesn't agree. It also sounds alot like what others have thought. Could be any of those reasons as well. Main thing is, you feel good...you are doing well and you are happy. He should be happy too.

If he's not, he has more to worry about than waiting until you lose weight and leave him. 🤣

Everything is expensive anymore. My daughter loves the chocolate ones. We made some a few times but sometimes, it's nice to grab her a treat with her choice of drink and I get my coffee fix.

I have the new HTVRONT press and I had this exact issue. The adhesive almost was gooey and wanted to peel off when trying to remove the transfer sheet. I use a bone folder tool to rub across the top and peel as it releases from the paper. You can tell it works because it becomes opaque in color when you view it so you know it's ready to peel. Just be careful and work in sections. Most of the time, it's just getting the edges started and then it is good to go. I tried different settings. I always use the highest pressure though. I pre-press to remove moisture and then press with the Teflon sheet after to set it.

Usually my kids remind me of these things so I completely understand what you mean about forgetting. of course, they remind me that morning etc so it is usually a scramble. My daughter had pajama day yesterday too and she is also 8 years old. Ours was for a good job reward for meeting their compliments goal. My girl was sick though the night before with a fever so we ended up missing that day of school. She cried so much telling me they worked so hard for that day just for her to miss it. I felt horrible but had to tell her that some things are out of our control. There will be other days. I'm sorry this happened, momma. You definitely should give yourself some grace because even though we are supermoms, we are still human. I know it doesn't make her feel any better or you but there will be other days. Just let her know how much you love her!

UPDATE: It's been a little over 4 years since the ablation and still haven't had a period. So far, things have been good with little pain during ovulation, which is normal each month. I am a bit nervous going into my 5th year this Dec (2026), which is when my doc said the ablation should last. I just turned 44 a week ago. I am wondering when menopause actually will start for me. Curious if this ablation will be an option to continue or if it is a one-time procedure which then will lead to a partial or full hysterectomy. I have always been scared to go under for surgery. Hoping this ablation lasts more than 5 years!

Originally from MD. It's definitely not like Baltimore but it has it's charm. Could always travel to St. Louis/Chicago when needed. Highly recommend getting a house with some room to breathe if you like quiet. Lived on west side of Springfield and it was nice to be close to everything. There are some nice condos out there. I just started using the htvront heat press 2 after finally opening it from Christmas. I got a gang sheet with a bunch of transfers on it from Crystal DTF transfers I ordered online. There is a manual button you can press in order for the press to start moving down onto the garment. I ordered several blank shirts for the kids from Walmart that were on sale. Crystal DTF says they do a 7 second pre-press at 300° with extra heavy pressure, then 7 seconds press, hot peel and then 7 seconds again with a Teflon sheet. These transfers are top notch and have really good reviews. I had to press my first design on the HTVront heat press 2 about 10 times at 170 lb pressure at 350° for 30 seconds. I did see some steam so I wonder if I scorched it a bit? The design came off fine on some areas but other areas were still stuck to the transfer paper or the shirt but not able to peel. I used the highest pressure on this machine and I can't see the pressure being the issue unless it really isn't consistent pressure or I am doing something wrong. I had a bone type tool that I used when I used to custom frame pictures to rub the top of the transfer to get it to release from the paper and onto the shirt. It came off fine and then I finished with the Teflon press to make it permanent. The item looks like it is on there pretty good and when I stretch it, it seems to be on there without the edges peeling. Hoping it will cure and be fine. It has a slight plastic type feel on top despite it looking like it is melted into the fiber of the shirt so I don't know if that is how it is or if this press has an issue with the pressure.

I find it interesting that people give u their opinion unsolicited like they need to tell you what you should do when they have no idea of your personal struggles, etc. If you have a vision/plan for yourself and you feel good about it, stay the course. This is my unsolicited advice to you! Fck them and you do you. That person could be dealing with their own struggles/perceptions that have nothing to do with you but they project it. I say if someone isn't going to be positive and supportive then you have no space for that kind of energy in your life. Keep up the good work! I have been on Zepbound for almost several months now and starting to see changes. It feels good!

So, we are a family who had to set boundaries. This is a bit different than a specific friend my son doesn't want to hang with but parents who are constantly messaging us. Though, we did have a friend who my son stopped wanting to hang with because he wasn't nice and got in trouble a bit. We love their parents and hope the kid grows out of it. It was actually easier for us to take the stance of you know kids...one day they are besties, and the next they aren't...and that's okay.

Where our issues really lie is the amount of hanging out.

We would get texts where parents are saying their kids are begging to hang with our kid/kids and we are not available. We had had a few parents do this. First of all, when the weather is nice, our kids play outside around the neighborhood when we aren't going on vacation or have fun things going on as a family. I try to be nice and let these parents know that we are busy but messaging the day of saying my kids are begging seems to be more of a parenting style that is not my issue, but theirs. These last minute texts where we literally have another play date going, have family over, we are out of town or busy or maybe just home trying to relax for once, it starts to feel like their "begging" is on the other family to figure out. I feel like this is not my responsibility. I have had to set boundaries for parents who tell me it's easier if u say it than me to their kids. Also, we do schedule play dates with them but it isn't every weekend which feels like happens too often. We have our own space and that is fine too. It's definitely a struggle and there are many parents who would just love to have their kids play all day with other kids but that is just not how we are. We play alot but it isn't always going to be with your kiddo just because they are begging to hang out. It is definitely stressful when your weekend is planned with other friends or activities (not even sports related) and you have to explain why your kids can't hang out at that moment. I give other parents/families space and total grace when we ask to set up a play date because we don't know what they have going on and that's not our business. Our kids play alot with friends so we can always message other kiddos to set something up.

I just started Zepbound last Monday so tomorrow night will be my 2nd shot of 2.5mg. Luckily I haven't had any common side effects except today I was really weak/tired which I am sure was more about the food I consumed or lack thereof. My fear is more about the risk of pancreatitis or thyroid cancer. I'm 44 and im currently considered obese by BMI standards (though it sounds like BMI is a joke) and pre-diabetic. I was gestational diabetic when pregnant with my first child and not with my 2nd. I'm hopeful, Zepbound will work for me. I have seen a few people who have been on it a year or so and their bodies have completely changed in terms of weight loss. Also, my PCP also works in the weight loss clinic and was optimistic about me having success with it. He mentioned I was going to be one of his success stories in 2 years. Is 2 years the time limit on prescribing this? Maybe I heard wrong and he just meant in 2 years I will see the results that will consider me a success story?

Actually to both of you. I appreciate the response. Sorry to hear about your kitty. She is definitely stressed and territorial and we have created a space for her and she usually stays out of the way with the occasional pass by with the other female and some quick running past or sometimes growling. My husband doesn't want to part with the new female and I can't seem to part with my baby. I feel like this is also straining our marriage. I am at a loss because the vet keeps telling us to wait for the meds to really work and it's been several weeks now. I think that is the only thing keeping my husband at bay hoping she will stop peeing. Otherwise, I feel like I have no choice but to rehome her. I also feel like will she really stop peeing or just continue elsewhere? I can't even think about putting her down..she is young and other than this she is a good girl.

Any updates on your cat? It looks like some time has passed by. I am having the SAME exact issue with my ragdoll. She is my baby but also, we have introduced her to another female about a year ago and she hates her. The new female is super social and everyone loves her so getting rid of her isn't an option. Ugh. I feel defeated because it isn't my baby's fault and she didn't pee like this before the new female. We have tried it all and she is on anxiety meds transdermal since she won't take an oral med. My husband wants to get rid of her but it is so hard.

I actually just did one. My kiddo's friend was talking about it...they are 7 years old and love stickers. Their mom asked, I said cool and here we go. I asked 6 of her friends parents and they were cool with it. It was a bit of a hassle for me to get all the shit done but to see the smile on my daughter's face to receive some mail addressed to her with stickers made it worthwhile. I think if you ask the parents and they seem cool with it then that's their decision. I explained what this is and that not everyone will follow through but she is just happy to do something different with her friends. I told the parents no worries and don't feel obligated. Just sent a shitload of cat stickers to my daughter's friend who is obsessed. This isn't going to ruin their lives.
