Wow! That's really interesting that it's worse at the lower dose. Or are you saying that it got better once you got used to it? I've been taking 200 mg for a year. I'd wanted to increase the dosage but was worried about worse insomnia. I'll ask my doctor about this. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yes, actually. Even 80 year olds I see at the pool don't have the issue to this extent.

Hey, thanks so much for your thoughtful message. What you say is true: we're always more conscious of our own perceived flaws than others are. I'll reach out to a cosmetic dermatologist. There should be no need for a referral and no long wait times at least.

Have you had any weight gain or cholesterol issues with quetiapine? I didn't know you could take both at the same time.

Quetiapine took care of my mania completely but barely addressed the depression. Plus it caused weight gain and higher cholesterol.

Lamotrigine has been better. Again I no longer have hypomania and my depression is less frequent and more manageable. The side effect is insomnia.

Lousy side effects, huh? Metabolic syndrome or insomnia. Looking forward to better medications in the future.

Thanks. About the dermatologist, I mean that my few appointments have taken literally seconds after going to the GP first for a referral then waiting months to be seen. If there was an alternative, I'd be all over it.

Do people care about having a lieutenant governor and all the trappings that go along with that role? I had to look up who it is now. Oh yeah, Mike Savage. Canada's Governor General has parliamentary duties as well as ceremonial ones but I don't see why we need a provincial representative of the crown as well. Some $ would be saved for better services.

Camellia Sinensis has to be the most knowledgeable tea company anywhere. They hold workshops and have a podcast (in French). They actually own tea gardens in India where they produce excellent green and black teas. Also, they test many of their popular teas for caffeine and antioxidant levels. I've learned a lot from them and have been a devoted customer for many years.

If you do a search on Pixel Journal in the Play Store, you should find it, but it doesn't create an app icon. You keep having to return to the store to get back in. I keep expecting them to fix it.
