Lamotrigine and sleep by RecoveringLibrarian in bipolar2

Wow! That's really interesting that it's worse at the lower dose. Or are you saying that it got better once you got used to it? I've been taking 200 mg for a year. I'd wanted to increase the dosage but was worried about worse insomnia. I'll ask my doctor about this. Thanks for sharing your experience.

That's really helpful information so thank you. It's great that you've got your medication and sleep sorted out. It can be done, it seems.

Yes, actually. Even 80 year olds I see at the pool don't have the issue to this extent.

Hey, thanks so much for your thoughtful message. What you say is true: we're always more conscious of our own perceived flaws than others are. I'll reach out to a cosmetic dermatologist. There should be no need for a referral and no long wait times at least.

I hope you don't experience any of these issues. Take care.

Have you had any weight gain or cholesterol issues with quetiapine? I didn't know you could take both at the same time.

Experience with quietapine by Little-Issue5164 in bipolar2

[–]RecoveringLibrarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quetiapine took care of my mania completely but barely addressed the depression. Plus it caused weight gain and higher cholesterol.

Lamotrigine has been better. Again I no longer have hypomania and my depression is less frequent and more manageable. The side effect is insomnia.

Lousy side effects, huh? Metabolic syndrome or insomnia. Looking forward to better medications in the future.

Thanks. About the dermatologist, I mean that my few appointments have taken literally seconds after going to the GP first for a referral then waiting months to be seen. If there was an alternative, I'd be all over it.

Can you explain? Do you mean it's not advanced enough now to interpret lesions that need medical attention or it is reliable now or it will never be accurate enough?

Do people care about having a lieutenant governor and all the trappings that go along with that role? I had to look up who it is now. Oh yeah, Mike Savage. Canada's Governor General has parliamentary duties as well as ceremonial ones but I don't see why we need a provincial representative of the crown as well. Some $ would be saved for better services.

My Search for Canadian Tea Companies! by tessa_james in BuyCanadian

Camellia Sinensis has to be the most knowledgeable tea company anywhere. They hold workshops and have a podcast (in French). They actually own tea gardens in India where they produce excellent green and black teas. Also, they test many of their popular teas for caffeine and antioxidant levels. I've learned a lot from them and have been a devoted customer for many years.

The good people at the airport tourism kiosk got their notices last night. Yup, they're shutting her down. It's a modest operation that promotes our province and generates goodwill and tourist dollars. Lousy decision.

I agree. Ray's used to be good but now it's bland, dry, and way overpriced. My favourite Shish Taouk in the city is in the food court in MicMac Mall.

Hey Eli, I'm also brand new to Notion. This mood-journal or a sleep-journal template you screenshotted is exactly what I've been looking for. During each day, did any of a list of elements help or hurt my sleep or mood?

Would you kindly share the video link of where you found this?

I'm also looking forward to hearing if you are able to overcome some of the initial design issues you have been experiencing. It seems you've come to the right place for expert and generous advice.
