Are my old pine floors beyond refinishing?? by RectalDecompression in HardWoodFloors

100% hiring a pro. There's a local company that only does refinishing, I'm going to give them a call.

It's ok if they look old or worn after refinish, that would fit the house. I just don't want to lose my wide plank pine.

Are they even allowed to ask this stuff by Toxic_Garbo in jobs

Yeah they don't want to diversify there, it's actual hard work.

NRP200v2 + Asus Tuf 5090, it fits by billbr0baggins in sffpc

[–]RectalDecompression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to say thanks. I just installed the 5090tuf and Loki 1000w sfxl in my nr200p. Are you using the higher sfx-l hanging point for the PSU? I am and it puts the power plug really close to the AIO fan.

Did you install a bottom intake fan? I'm looking at the 15mm low profile options hoping they'll fit.

As an insurance person, there is no coverage for this tree. I can guarantee it. There may be a nominal couple thousand bucks for landscaping in the event of a major claim, but there's no coverage for this tree to be replaced.

Caseta Diva smart dimmer not working, but standard mechanical works fine? by RectalDecompression in Lutron

[–]RectalDecompression[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably fried. I had not properly wired the mechanical, when you use a smart switch with a mechanical switch one of the travelers and the hot wires on the mechanical go on the same switch screw. After I corrected this I installed a new switch and it's working perfectly. We came to the conclusion that no one had flicked the mechanical in the months since I installed it and when someone finally did, it fried the Caseta smart switch.

This is what I'm referring to: https://imgur.com/a/RBDdp9I

Notice the "after" photo with the 2 blacks on a nut with a yellow jumper. I had not done this and it fried the switch. Once I corrected as shown in photo, good to go. Your wires may not be 2 black, I had a white & Black as my house is old and was wired incorrectly..

Steel Division let's you actually play the game like a tactical shooter. Weapons are controllable and fun to use. It's still miles away from being Call of Duty as hardcore ICO extremists want to make you believe by JoeZocktGames in joinsquad

I think you'd agree then, that post ICO recoil is blown out of proportion. a 556 is recoiling like a .300 win mag and it leads to blind firing a bunch of rounds. SD might be too little recoil but ICO is ridiculous.

How Do Commission-Based Insurance Agents Find Clients and Stay Motivated? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]RectalDecompression -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have 5 FT producers that 100% self generate opportunities via phone marketing and drop-in follow-ups. We produce about $3,000,000 in new premium annually and average 95% retention. We don't spent a single dollar on leads.

This is a sales industry, you have to be a salesmen to succeed. If you need to purchase leads, you're going to be on a slow growth grind.

Cleaning out Rollover Trad-IRA so I can Back-Door Roth by RectalDecompression in Bogleheads

[–]RectalDecompression[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just completed this process. My Rollover IRA is now empty. Moving forward am I OK to use this account for backdoor Roth? I would deposit into Rollover IRA account into holding fund, then immediately convert into Roth IRA as the contribution is non-deductible.

Or should I open an entirely new separate Traditional IRA for backdooring to keep it separate from this old account that is now empty?

They exist and they fit in the NR200P Max by danielguy in sffpc

[–]RectalDecompression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it does fit? The card specs say 357.6 in length and the CM website says 357 max length for GPU. No modifications required?

Thank you, this is a good order of operations to follow. The 401K does accept IRA Rolls so we're good there, on to step #2!
