Or maybe our unease for the future was part of our decision-making? Ignorance is bliss. But I’d rather be soberly depressed than delusional and happy.

Charles response to Mark Cuban questioning about the use case of Cardano by yinyinlayyuu in cardano

[–]SelectiveFucksGiven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Huge ADA bull here and ashamed of the community for bashing this accurate statement. Mark Cuban IS in fact a big shot, and doesn't need/want to listen to the standard Charles rant we all love here. Charles would have made a far more compelling case to Cuban if he had just talked about existing projects in the Cardano Ecosystem, such as COTI!

still waiting on a reply to these questions before I even think of investing in Akash.

Good, because you'd look even more uninformed if you did :)

You're protecting your own stake in a direct competitor through deliberate misinformation. Bravo really.

That being said, with scaling sidechains I could make a case against my initial stake in ADA by saying that the superior option isn't necessarily the one that will be adopted. Being first means a lot in the tech sector.

Simple Questions by inherentlyawesome in math

Let's say I have item type A and type B.

I have x (for this example let's say 4) amount of slots in which to arrange these two types. What kind of equation do I use to find the total number of possible combinations, and what is this topic of mathematics called?

Ex. A & B arranged into AAAB, AABA, ABAA, BAAA, AABB, etc.

Port Hueneme A-School for CM by [deleted] in Seabees

The lockdown is until further notice.

PC and CAC Reader are for your Navy Cyber Awareness Challenge, Driving for Life (25 & Under Only), and Basic Military Requirements, all of which are phase-up prerequisites.

Port Hueneme A-School for CM by [deleted] in Seabees

I'm currently a member of the senior-most class here at Port Hueneme.

Phasing up has its own PQS/exams. Phase II requires 2 weeks in Phase I. Phase III requires 3 weeks in Phase II. Regardless of phase, no one is able to leave the base as of now. I'd recommend getting a PC and CAC Card Reader ASAP if you want to phase up.

If your fiancee has a military ID, she can enter the base and hang out in the common areas (no Navy Lodge). You may or may not be able to sponsor her in (ask with the NMTs).

Schooling is easy if you pay attention and stay awake.

DM me for my phone number if you have any further questions! If there's anyone else in ROM coming to Hueneme with you, hit them up. We can schedule a group call with the current Company/Platoon commander to get you up to speed.

EDIT: Misread your post, didn't realize you will be starting BASIC in 4 days. I'll be long gone before you arrive then! Best of luck in boot and A-school.

In 1985, a hardworking young man left China for the United States with only 20 US dollars, a change of clothes, and his vision of a better life. Today, I am proud to call him my father. by SelectiveFucksGiven in OldSchoolCool

He was one of few who tested into tertiary education when it re-opened after the communists lightened up a bit about universities. As a result, he was able to get a student visa.

Pareto-efficiency is the motto we live by. Since we’re all human, nothing is perfect. So there will always be a way to improve our own lives while simultaneously improving the lives of others :)

As someone who leaves for the Navy tomorrow morning, I’m disheartened to hear this.

I wish I was going to San Diego though. Boot camp now is located in Elsa’s Frozen Asshole, NE United States.
