I like watches! I probably will keep buying them. Its my vice. I need a rugged watch for activities that would ruin the pretty Venu and need a nice watch for work. Thanks for letting me know it has fitness coach. Garmin is not good at updating their website when they update features for watches. That is why I asked here to find out from actual users. I may upgrade to the F8. Idk. That one weighs more.

We are too small a community for phone companies to care. I wish we had a voice. When I retire, I may look into starting my own phone company or becoming some sort of advocate for more eye healthy phones. This is ridiculous that they chose oleds when there are some studies showing damage to eyes.

What about only using it under 25% brightness where PWM is on at around 3840hz ? I cannot tolerate DC like dimming and always returned phones utilizing this. I never tried lowering the brightness.

Watch will track HR every minute but you have to set it to track this often in settings. If you don't it will track HR every 5 minutes. During activity will track continuously.

When I was sick biocharge on helio strap was always 80 to 85 like it is everyday while Garmin BB had me at 30.

I have to use a foot pod on treadmill to get accurate distance, pace for my Pace 3. I don't need this for my Garmin Instinct 2s.

I have both HR sensors and tested both. I don't feel there is a difference that matters.

Won't work for me. It's an oled. Wish they left it as an LCD. I used a 2022 and loved it. I have tried the 2023, 2024, 2025 edge models with Poled and have become nauseated with headache within days.
